Hurairah's Pug Group is recruiting
|
Looking for all talented pug raiders out there who are frustrated with their guilds or are unable to make it for the raid times with their guild and would like to have the opportunity to raid casually and gear up for bigger better things.
I like flexibility with my timings but generally the raid times would be after 9:30 pm server on weekdays and whenever its convenient for everyone on weekends. I already have a few people who run with me regularly but I am looking to make more contacts for the times when they are unavailable. Your interest here by no means is an obligation to make it for the raid. It just means you are another person I could keep in mind if I am falling short on people. As far as the success of my pug groups is concerned, we have been 6/7 clear on FL many times and 4/8 clear on DS last week. Pug groups require a lot of patience (sometimes) and as such I am hoping for mature understanding people who love to raid and are willing to do whatever it takes (no ragequits) to down a boss. If you are interested, feel free to post here or contact me in game. This is my one and only toon so if you don't see me on then I am unavailable. P.S: There should be no excuse to not have 378 gear now that it's so easy to obtain it. If you dont then I recommend running some new heroics and LFR till you are well equipped. This will only ease the process (of downing the boss) and make it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone else. |

I'm not sure how often he passes through the forums, but get in contact with Kagnar from <Fighters Guild>. I know he's been trying to find a place for his Disc Priest and he probably has a few other folks in guild who would tag along.

He does pretty good raids

I've run with you a couple times at random. Now that i know you kind of have a set time ill try to be on around then.

I have added you to my friends list. If I see you online when I am looking for group I'll pst you.
We are already 4/8 clear in DS this week though but we'll keep trying for Ultraxion if you want to come along for that. |

Make a guild called Hurairahs Pug. :P
|
|
|
If everyone joined it, it wouldnt be a pug
|

Lol I was thinking about opening a guild called "PUGS FTW" but its too much work to level a guild. For now if anyone wants a guild setup with the regular pugs join "Horde" or pst Brewnosr or Brewkno in game. It's a level 25 guild and Brewkno always runs with me.

but yes hurairahs pugs is a good idea i think. gets more people into the raiding with a constant pug. should make it a gkdp run :) |

only the best thing ever lol here is a posting of it
Heres the GDKP concept in a nutshell: - GDKP stands for "Gold-DKP". It can also be known by similar names such as "Gold runs", "GKP runs", "Cash runs". - It was a Korean concept brought to WoW. It's already established and extremely common in some regions, only recently introduced on some servers , yet still completely unheard of on others. - Items which drop in your run are auctioned off in raid chat. The highest bidder receives the item and the gold they pay is added to "The Pot" - Profession Patterns, BOE's, Crusader Orbs(outdated lol), Disenchanted Shards etc are all auctioned off in this manner as well. Everything that drops. - "The Pot" keeps growing in value until the end of the run - "The Pot" is split evenly at the end of the run to all 25 players in the raid present when the final boss dies. Everyone gets an equal share. - There is no mainspec > offspec priority, its gold which determines who gets what. |

Lol this (1%) strategy would mean that I would never be able to win any gear. And it would be the same for a lot of other pugs that run with me.
I don't have guild repairs or access to the guild bank so I have to save all the gold I have for repairs and expensive gems and enchants. And as far as BOE items are concerned, anyone can outbid the raid and then sell that item on AH for a ridiculous amount. I believe in fairness and rewarding people for their hard work based on what they could utilize. So no pattern rolls for people who can't realistically make them. Always MS>OS rolls and no favouritism for anyone....not even myself. |

right you may not win the first few... but youll start getting gold income which then when you run more youll be able to bid and win other items.

5/8 DS now but I am officially retiring this pug group for the time being as I found myself a spot in a raid team.
There are some really talented pugs out there though so please give them a chance and you'll be surprised with what they can do for you. |

Good luck with your new team, buddy!
It was fun while it lasted. I'm probably going to header off server soon. |
