Topic Disengage bug requirements?

I was just testing the disengage bug with my paladin friend, had him hammer of justice me and repent me during disengage, both of them just stopped me mid flight and dropped me to the ground, first off I don't think that should happen in the first place, we should continue to fly to our destination even when stunned, but from what I heard being stunned during disengage would teleport us back to where we disengaged from. Does it only work with warriors charges and other such abilities?

I think it may be related to jumping before you disengage. Havnt been able to pin it down myself.

When others (who are unfamiliar with this problem) read "dropped" they may tend to think "that makes sense mid air stun makes you fall". When we're actually being "teleported" or brought back to our initial position, where disengage was used(wasted?). But other than that, usual agreeing and hoping for fixes.

Also I found when using Disengage, then Rocket jump (thus not touching the ground between casts) a stun/root will bring you ~25 yards back to where disengage started not RJ, as well as both on CD -.-. not empirical evidence I know, so if any other Gobbies can confirm or deny this I'd be thankful

Stuns don't move you...they infact do the opposite so fall straight down

Fears and disorients will make disengage behave awkward and teleport you back if the pathing is too hectic

Like Khasius said, a snare, root, disorient, fear, CC, etc will "Deathgrip" you back to your original position.

Receiving a stun mid disengage will simply drop you to the ground.

The entire time you are in the air, all melee and ranged can continue to attack you no matter how far away you are until you touch ground again. This pertains to jumping off towers and cliffs like in AV or AB. You can jump off of LM and if you hit disengage during your flight down, an enemy can port you back up top by hitting you with any CC. This works even if you are 100 yards away b/c the server is still telling your enemies that your position is at the top of the cliff and inside their range.
