Step 1

Wet your face. Apply a generous amount of facial cleanser to a clean and wet washcloth. Using the washcloth thoroughly clean your face and neck. Pay attention to problem areas such as the T-zone, forehead and chin.

Step 2

Take another clean washcloth and wet it with warm water. Wipe all the remaining cleanser from your face with it. Dry your face with a clean, dry towel.

Step 3

Use the blackhead-removing strips on any blackheads on the skin. Follow the instructions for the particular brand of strip.

Step 4

Place witch hazel on a cotton ball, then rub it over the skin. The witch hazel will act as a toner and astringent to clean the pores.

Step 5

Place peroxide on a cotton swab and hold it to any whiteheads. The peroxides aids in drying up any whiteheads and reducing them in size. This will help to reduce the appearance of the whiteheads without leaving a scar.
