Just want to say thanks to all those who TROLLed me earlier. I've done some reforging and enchanting. Didn't even know that Arcanum of the Earthen Ring was account bound (nub) and I had it all along. I even picked up a drop.... How do you like me now? ~LOL

Well since you asked. I don't know any prot pallys using Parry/Stam gems. I guess maybe some really high geared ones, but for a blue socket you want Mastery/Stam.

Your consecration glyph doesn't quite fit as well. Since you didn't spec into consecration.

I can make other suggestions if you like. Just let me know.

For the hunter. Not having the glove engineering tinker means you arn't getting any stat benefit from the profession. The mats should be really cheep, and the benefit should be around 70-80 extra agility if used correctly.

You need resil gems in those daggers

...for a blue socket you want Mastery/Stam...

I think have Mas/Stam in all my blues (....nope i found em).

I was gemming and reforging to get the dodge and parry closer together. Don't know why that's key, but that's what I've been told.

I am not a prot pally so the numbers I will be using will be completely off, but overall(I believe) the reasoning will be sound. Dodge/Parry are pretty much equal. To go from 5% dodge or parry to 6% dodge or parry you need 60(completely made up number) points of that stat. The main part is to go from 5-6% is that it takes the same amount of the stat. Now to go from 6% dodge or parry to 7% it will take 65(made up again) points. Each point of dodge/parry is less useful than the previous point. So you try to make them as equal as possible so you get the most bang for your buck.

Again the numbers here are made up.

It's called Synapse Springs. It will give you 480 agility(on click) for 10 seconds every 60 seconds. I would guess it would be best if tied to Explosive Shot.

You balance dodge and parry because the farther they get from each other the more the higher stat suffers from diminishing returns. So in the end you have wasted hollow stat points because you have say 1300 more parry but your parry is acting like you have way less. Evening dodge and parry out also tends to free up some room for more mastery which...you WANT. Your goal as a shield wearer is to get 102.4% CTC (Combat Table Coverage= Dodge+Parry+Block percent+5%) Paladins are fortunate that they can get CTC relatively easily in the gear we have available now. But in some cases downgrading an item level for more mastery has been known to happen. But using 2 mastery trinkets helps as well. I recommend the trinket from TB dailies to pair with the VP trinket.

you shouldn't be gemming anything but agility unless it's a +20 agi socket bonus

reforge your haste to hit instead of taking an agi loss by gemming hit

also why are you reforging out of hit to mastery. not only do you need hit rating but mastery is your worst stat.

for your rogue it looks like you didn't know what stat you wanted to gem or reforge so you just did a little of everything.

Straight-up ....I really just followed a guideline in the Hunter forum on reforging for SV spec. I thought that Mastery is one of SVs priority (considering Essence of the Viper is Mastery).

I was reforging to get hit cap'd (which I think I am only 30pts. shy of I believe (which is good enough for HoT). If I forged out of hit, it was because I was over the hit cap and Mastery was next best priority for SV other than Crit (which wasn't an option). I'll recheck those forging options tho....
