Greetings and Happy Holidays Anetheron!
I would like to put forth an idea not seen in <Resilient> in quite some time. Ever since <Resilient> reformed back in the summer of 2010, we have been a 10-man raiding entity. Over the past 13 months that we’ve been raiding, we have seen great success as a guild. Our members have formed friendships via raiding, guild events, and even outside of the game at Blizzcon 2011 and other venues. What makes <Resilient> such a unique and positive guild to be a part of, is the ability for our in-game friendships to carry out of the game so seamlessly. With this fundamental idea in mind, we have decided that it may be time to expand our family back to a 25-man raiding entity. I know that there haven’t been very many strong 25-man guilds as of late, but perhaps we can make some magic happen. I know many good people in good guilds are going through SWTOR/Skyrim/InsertGameNameHere syndrome, and others are finding their own reasons to leave and stop playing WoW. This leaves many capable and committed raiders that want to continue to play at a loss. With the support and interest of the Anetheron community, we’d like to offer these individuals a suitable home to continue playing WoW. I call on the Horde and Alliance alike - if you have any interest to join <Resilient> and be a part of a fun, challenging and productive 25-man raiding group, please get a hold of Aquilae in-game. What we are looking for are mature, knowledgeable players to fill out our roster. We’re not children - the average age of our raiders is 24. As I mentioned earlier, we consider each other family, and we try to treat each other as such. If you can’t wrap your mind around this concept, or don’t want to, please do not apply. We’re interested in candidates that value friendship and camaraderie over loot. We are currently 5/8H as a 25-man guild and are enthusiastic about our progression as a 25-man guild in the future. Our raid times are Tuesday and Monday from 8pm-12am server. As we only raid twice a week, we make our 8 hours count. Although we have been using loot council to distribute loot as a 10-man guild, we would be adopting a simple and non-aggressive style of DKP to handle a 25-man raid. We have used it in the past when <Resilient> raided T6-T9 content, and as such we know what works and what doesn’t. I understand that players may wish to join or apply with some of their friends in whichever guilds they are currently playing. This is something we are interested in accommodating. Keep in mind that we will do so very cautiously, and will not entertain large groups. We’re not here to merge guilds, but rather absorb talent from capable, available and interested parties across the server that are otherwise unable to raid or meet their raiding goals in their current guilds. If you’re interested, get a hold of Aquilae via PST or in-game mail. The likelihood of this shift to 25-man depends solely on the feedback and interest from the community. If we find that the conditions are not right, we will remain a 10-man raiding guild as we have been. TL;DR - If you didn’t have the patience or interest to read this, then just move along. Move along. Aquilae Guild Master of <Resilient> Supreme Slayer of Squirrels EDIT: If interested, please apply at http://guildresilient.com/index.php/recruitment-application-form - Thank you! |

Bump: In message board terms, to move a post to the top of the forum with a pointless reply, usually to one's own thread.
John likes to bump his threads because he wants more replies to his post. |
