I can't delete it because I have "so called crap in my mailbox" It's not boa's or anything so I can't delete my toons cos it's a bug or whatever and I can't get to a mailbox because I'm worgen just want to delete this not going to level it just to delete it

There's a mailbox right in the starting zone. You'll have to log into the character and delete all the mail in their inbox. Just turn on the mailbox tracker :3

If you have any pets or mounts that get sent to every new character, you need to remove those from the mailbox. You also need to make sure to delete the letter it was attached to.
Worst case, if you've leveled even a little and phased past the point you can access the mailbox, you should be able to open a Support Ticket and request that all mail be deleted so that you can delete the character. Just state clearly in the ticket the character name and realm and that you understand you won't be able to have it recovered if you change your mind. |

ok, i have that same problem, but even after i havn't played that charicter in well over a mounth, i still can't delete the stupid toon. even after they are all striped down to 0 armor in the bags and equipted, still, have that same stupid problem. And why did blizzard even add that, so that u have to have no mail, nothing in ur mail, just to delete ur toon? i remember you just had to log off that toon, do the deleting prossess, it wasnt so hard, disnt take very long. you never even had to log on to that charicter, ever. it was so nice then, i wish it was like that still. Why did blizzard even start that? i have several relms, like 2 or 3 with 10 toons in each one, so like 20, 30 toons, and some i can't even delete, so i can't
make any more toons on that relm, so i try a new relm, start a new toon. the bad part is i can't send heirlooms, or anything to that toon, because you can't cross relm trade or mail, which i hate. i have this heirloom that i want to send to another toon on another relm, and guss what, i can't send it. i can't even name all the toons i want to delete. And am i saposed to be able to make toons on all relms, without having to stop having toons on that relm? |

If you are unable to delete a character please provide name and realm of said character. The reason for the extra pop up that explains you are unable to delete a character due to mail and such, is due to players deleting characters with Heirloom on them or mail that has heirlooms in them. That was part of the reason this was implemented, just gives players the opportunity to check the characters inventory and mail to make sure everything is off that character before they delete it. In regards to making toons in all realms, not sure what this means. If you can clarify for me, it would help me better assist you. |

well, i am playing on like 5 or 6 relms, and i remember hearing that there was a certain number of relms an account could use. now it just doesn't seem like that's not true anymore. it just seems like i could start new toons on all the relms. And no, i now know how to delete A toon, i just am having trouble with a specific toon. but ill check it out tomarow to see if i really do need blizzard's help. And if i do, ill make a ticket. All i needed to know is why were thoes extra screans come up, which i now know. so i think i know as much as i was asking. so thank you for the help, i used to get frustraded because i didnt have any heirlooms. now i understand.

Forf, you can have up to 10 characters on a single realm and up to 50 characters per WoW account. There is talk that they are going to try and make it where there is no limit of only 10 per realm when MoP comes out, but still have the 50 characters per WoW account restriction.

Flatspriest, i know already that you can only have 10 toons per relm, thats why i start new relms. but just to make shure, ill go check to make shure i have at most of 5 relms with my toons in them

I am looking to delete two characters, and both have NOTHING in either mailboxes, bank, void storage, or equipped. And yet, I cannot delete the last two characters, as I keep getting the error message saying I have something in mail/heirlooms.
I just deleted 8 toons, and these are the last 2. I cleaned them all out the same. What should I do? *Edit: The characters are both on alliance Firetree. Names are Psychora and Lifedarkness. 85 draenei mage, and 48 human warlock, respectively. |
Put in a GM ticket with the name and realm of the toons in question, and ask politely that they remove whatever it is that's blocking you from deleting them. |

Make a last ditch effort and check their mailboxes before putting in a ticket. As others mentioned, even if you don't see the mail icon attached to the minimap, you may have read mail still in the box that is preventing you from deleting those toons. The mailbox must be completely empty of all old and new mail. |

Psychora: You have an heirloom  Inherited Insignia of the Alliance the same Bank Frostweave bag that has Insignia of the Alliance. Lifedarkness: Has 2 Heirlooms  Tattered Dreadmist Mask &  Ancient Bloodmoon Cloak You will NOT be able to delete these characters until these items are removed. |

Ok, I checked both toons. I found that heirloom on the mage, its gone.
The warlock, has no mail, no bank items, no bag items and nothing equipped. this picture shows it. http://i40.tinypic.com/2ibn9xk.jpg I moved those two heirloom items earlier to another toon and sold/deleted them. Maybe the server just hasnt registered the transfer yet. |

Psychora, I see you have addons which alter the appearance of your bank and inventory. It's possible that these addons are interfering with you, causing you to be unable to see certain items. I'd suggest trying again with these addons disabled.
