Raid Mark Macro?

I don't know if this is the right forum to ask, but I was wondering what the macro command for marking a target with say skull or something like that is.

I would also like to know if there is a macro for setting world markers so I can do it quickly in PvP and stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, there are ways to macro marking targets.

Let me look up the command...

/script SetRaidTarget(“target”,8);

That marks skull.

List of what # means what:

You can also directly assign key commands to raid markers in the Key Bindings interface. Unless you need to bundle a mark with some other command into a single keystroke, no macro is necessary.

But you don't need an addon...

As for world markers, I don't have one but all I did was google "raid target macros" for the first reply I gave you.

Edit: Seroulsly you don't need an addon. I typed in those macros to make several common icons and use that. Skull, Cross, Square, and Moon are almost enough to do w/e you need, maybe a star or diamond here and there. And they're all on my action bar requiring one simple click per mob (and hell I only mark one or two after that just kill the mob with lowest health I dont understand why people just dont follow that more often.)

/click CompactRaidFrameManagerDisplayFrameLeaderOptionsRaidWorldMarkerButton
/click DropDownList1Button5

Replace the last number in the last line with either 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 to change the color.

At least, that's what we used in T12. Not sure if that still functions or not.

/tm followed by 0-8 will mark your target with the icon corresponding to the number.

/wm followed by 1-5 will bring up the targeting circle for the world marker of the colour corresponding to the number.

These commands were added in 4.3 and are much simpler to use than the original scripts/click macros.

The "SetRaidTarget" macro doesn't work anymore (Apr 2013), generates a LUA error.
