Gnome druids. Yes. Gnome druids.
What is it about a gnome that inspires them to continue despite many temporary setbacks? Perseverance? Don't be daft, its technology! I am not asking for these esteemed brethren to be allowed within the likes of the Cenarion Circle but simply for the ability to exist. Can anyone deny another living being to be? No! Veritable hordes of gnomes work day and night on new amazing technologies yet cannot fathom the thought of becoming a shapeshifter? Ridiculous! Everyone knows those dastardly druids grow into beasts of such toughness and ferocity that they might rival my grandmother's sowing table! Has anyone ever heard of the phrase, "We can rebuild you, we have the technology!" before? If you have, then we might have a lawsuit on our hands. I have reports of gnomes who have been abused by the very technology we control shying away from mechanical endeavours. Can we not grant them some other path in life? I believe I have said enough, but let me leave you wise members of the Alliance with some parting thoughts. "Hyjal Cubs" (Cumbersome Undercover Battlesuit Soldier) parachuting down into Horde encampments, taking the enemy by surprise. The Horde rallies swiftly yet cannot seem to harm the mighty gnomish bears while whispered words emanate from the short shrubbery surrounding them. Mighty, doom sized (knee high) battle moonkin rain a brutal mix of natural magics upon the Horde, all the while unleashing a terrific barrage of quality -Gnomish- explosives upon them. So raise your voices, let us really put the boom in boomkin! Pray to your "omnipotent" gods in the sky that this preventative mind haze be lifted from the gnomish pioneers! Gnomes don't have much of a connection to nature. The concept of Elune is as foreign to them as the idea of microwave ovens is to the Tauren. It's not that they can't be druids by some law...
...it's why would you? Of course that's the fun of RP; we get to play out these scenarios. Oh and I would like to see Gnome druids as a foil to Goblin shamans. If they can molest nature from the other side of the fence I wanna too. |

Droods: Gnomies no like nature.
Pallies: They can probably barely be warriors and dks. All that armor makes it hard to move. Plus, have you ever noticed they're always either dual wielding/sword and shiled? Its cuz teh pally warhammer would be too much. Arms would break. Hunters: Pets would eat them. |

Warrior: Forsaken don't have the muscle mass or connective tissue anymore, to be effective warriors Priest: Forsaken who choose to be priests cannot be any spec other than shadow, otherwise they will cause themself to burst into flames when they cast a Holy spell. Rogue: You expect me to believe that a zombie can sneak or pick my pocket? The smell alone would give them away. Mage: They can barely keep their bodies together, and you expect me to believe that they can contain the titanic forces that mages fling about? Their bodies would rupture from the strain. Death Knight: Same reasons as the warrior. Also, they died and were raised as a zombie, by the Lich King. Then they died again, and this time Arthas decided to raise them as a Death Knight. Really? They fail at death. Hunter: Their pets would gnaw on their bones. Plus, animals usually avoid dead things. Especially dead things that still move. Guess you better trade your armor in for a dress, and roll up a Warlock. |

They fail at death. ha my history is different i was raised from the lichking at the SECOND death not the first! lol |

Honestly, would you like to see puntballs running around in loins, shapeshifting into canaries and hamsters? I'd rather support Goblins and Orcs for druid status! I mean, for Light's bloody sake, honestly? Gnome druids? The very idea is a paradox of itself. The only thing more likely to cause a paradox is a Forsaken druid. Join me, Fairfax, as I start the Anti-Gnome Druid Society... so that we may put an end to the rebellious thoughts of these worthless oil-rag slaves once and for all. |

/carepolice If you're going to make a derogatory post about the abilities of gnomes, I am fully justified in answering it. I was just pointing out that there are far better lore and game balance reasons for there to be be gnome paladins, then there ever were for forsaken hunters or priests, among other things. Face it, there is no good reason for forsaken to be a playable race. If you want to know what it's like to deal with people who are mean and spiteful, play a gnome. Seriously, we get $#!t on by every race in the game. Sometimes more by our own faction. As far as I'm concerned, you can all die in a fire. So, the next time you want to mock another race, maybe you should shut your pie-hole. |
...How is that different from any other forsaken DK? Newsflash, the forsaken used to all be little scourgelings, raised by the Lich King. Not necessarily Arthas, but still the Lich King. So you were, in fact, raised by the Lich King twice. You still fail at death, and are never going to see heaven. |

actually calvic was human then was captured by a necromancer and transformed into a undead then found his way to lorderan, died in the crossfire, and was raised so hah....i win

gnomes? druids? no way in hell dwarf druid......already explains itself human druid could probably happen since gilneans became druids forsaken......uh......yea druid wouldnt work at all druid orc.....dont even go there druid goblin AHA dont make me laugh ;P blood elves have nothing to do with nature a draenie being a druid would defy everything that kinda makes them a alien race ;P |

I don't disagree that, lorewise, gnome druids make no sense. Then again, if we're going to talk about race/class combos that make not sense when lore is considered:
Goblin Shaman Goblin Priest Forsaken Priest Forsaken Hunter Draenei Shaman Night Elf Mage Night Elf Priest Worgen Druid Worgen Death Knight Tauren Priest Tauren Paladin(don't get me started on the "sun druid" cr@p) Then there's the "questionable" list: Forsaken Rogue Forsaken Death Knight Troll Priest Orc Warlock Goblin Death Knight Goblin Hunter All of these R/C combos have problems, lorewise. Some of them are fairly serious. Others are more of a, "wait-what did you say," kind of issue. I admit that the main reason I include Orc Warlocks on the questionable list is because I find it hard to believe they were allowed to remain part of the Horde, after the Horde was freed from the power of the demon blood. As far as Forsaken DKs go, no offense my brothers & sisters, but ya'll are kinda ridiculous. Made into undead twice, really? Plus, if you have Lichborn, you can be triply undead. That definately falls under the heading of, "lololo-wait, wut? Tell me yer kidding."

Well,ya I get lots of your points Gnomes have nothing to do with nature but with tech they can do anything,IF and as I said IF they were druids they would be like robots probably. And if any race could be any class I mean who wants to see a human turning into a bear or a cow backstab you?
