WTF happened?

<Manly Men> is Khazuals.

still doesnt explain why the guild name change. especially for us who dont reside on horde side

So basically, Khazuals 25 man had attendance issues and one by one, the main raiders either quit or left and struggled to make proper raid comps required and after weeks or trying to salvage, it finally became too big a hill to overcome that they decided to cease altogether.

Having said that, there was a casual 10 man raid group going on raiding 2-3 days a week which consisted of old Khazuals raiders,including myself, half of which held an officer appointment somewhere along the line. We gave ourself the name Manly Men and thats what we were known within the guild.

When the 25 man raid team called it quits, the GM (Struthy) handed one of the old officers within our group GM, and after much debate and consulting with the founders of the guild, we decided to rename the guild and start afresh.

That's the story!

Kind of sad to hear that the Khazuals name is gone, I remember when I first started playing WoW, hopping around Dalaran as a fresh level 80, half thinking I'd beaten the game by getting max level for the first time. Then seeing some guy from Khazuals with "The Magic Seeker" title or something. I think that's what first got me curious about raiding, wondering what that title meant/how you got it lol. Was sort of oblivious to it all up until that point.

Anyway! Glad to hear the guild is still continuing on in some capacity, hopefully you're around for many years to come, if only to confuse the next generation of noobs.

This news make me bit sad, to see the Khazuals name die. If you haven't already, one of you should make an alt guild to lock it out on the server so it doesn't get picked up by some group of scrubs.

I don't remember the name of the other guild but I do remember when Meddle and whoever it was merged to form Khazuals, it was like Voltron or some !@#$. Once TBC came out all the epic alliance guilds disappeared and Khazuals was the only cutting edge progression guild on the server. 4 or 5 years later you guys were still going strong, and that make me happy in the pants.

Khazuals was an iconic part of Khaz'goroth for many years, and it is a bit sad to see that era over. But new chapters and new possibilities await the Manly Men! :)

Isn't there a video advertising the server, and Khazuals was supposed to be one of the big selling points of it?

Oh and that was Meddle left at the end of Vanilla.

Guild Serenity + Deception C-Block on Kael and Vash due to player recruitment or lack their of, attunements were always fun redoing 1mill times too..

Wouldnt it be a pleasent surprise to see Khazuals doing 25man again? Wouldnt take to much effort to find new people. Alot of guilds are getting frustrated with the whole 7/8 deal.

Finding people is easy. Finding people who aren't just warm sacks of flesh helplessly flailing against their keyboard with tiny slippery squid arms is exceedingly frustrating.

Really hate to see the name go but it is best this way. Its not a guild without the core people that keep it together, I doubt it was them afraid of finding good raiders more of a wanting to stick as the guild. Good luck to the ones that stayed as well as those that left.
