Double post!
Those injured can GM Leilastrasza to heal them. Just think of her as a Jeeves... for your body instead of gear. I'm lining up interesting points in the WoW timeline that I plan on visiting in our future missions, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!! For now, IC, just chill and get to know one another. You can knock on Fyndormi's door or even Rathios' door if you want. You can go fishing or hunting or tend the garden or anything at all. I'm still trying to decide what other character I'll bring in here, not sure who would fit best. Enjoy! EDIT: *kidnaps Binky* |

Perhaps we as agents have to try and aid Arthas indirectly in activating obelisks to open the Frozen Throne. Etc. Arthas finding Frostmourne. The creation of the Alliance of Lordaeron. Medivh manipulating orcs/humans in to working together during the Third War. Trolls joining the Horde. Tauren joining the Horde. The defeat/death of Admiral Proudmoore. Battle of Mount Hyjal/Archimonde's death. Freeing of Illidan by Tyrande. The defeat of Kil'jaeden and restoration of the Sunwell. Dreanei (conveniently) crashing on a tiny island controlled by the Alliance. Founding Nordrassil. That long quest chain in Hyjal where you help Aggra save Thrall. The Sundering. Dum-dee-dum... want me to keep going? :P Anyway, will get both IC posts up as soon as I can. For simplicity's sake I'm just gonna pretend that Jinzumi was with Ellyse and Randolph, if that's cool. |

That's fine, though I would have made a post to get her into the story if needed. I love your troll, by the way. I need to research more troll lore and actually try to RP one. They're one of my favorite races, but I don't have any troll RP characters that stuck. Great ideas so far, everyone. Though I have never actually played Warcraft I, II, or III *hangs head in shame* I have read a few books so I'll have some resource material to work with for events that happened pre-WoW. Though you can bet I'll probably be coming to you guys in the OOC thread to check my facts. :p On a different note, I'm obsessed with this song recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEm7CXV3piA One thing I tend to do in my OOC threads is share music I currently listen to while writing. I encourage you guys to do the same. I like to listen to other's songs and see if I can pick up on any influences in their writing. Gender:Male Race:Troll Age:19(human years) Class:Druid Personality:Jab(his nickname and how he refers to himself)is a prankster. He is very serious when the situation needs it but goofs off so much and tries the lighten the mood that when he does get serious you should be worried. Either something really bad has happened or something bad is going to happen. He constantly pulls pranks but he never does it to cause harm only to get a laugh. He is very shy when asked about his past and tries to avoid it at all costs. Appearance:Jabkalzul is 6"3, blue skin, a chipped left tusk and grey face paint. He has wind swept white hair and his right ear has the tip cut off. Mostly in his animal forms. Armor/Weapons/Equipment:Jab uses leather armour. A single leather shoulder gaurd, brown leather pants, a black leather chestpiece, a leather headband and green leather boots(pretty much what you see in the pic, sorry I'm lazy.) and he uses a white staff with gold pointed ends. He usually fights in his animal forms. Special Skills (This includes trade skills or any other special skills): Jab is very good at hiding and spying while in cat form and he is able to infuriate someone to no end with his pranks. When not pranking or spying he is an expert tracker and can always find a scent trail. Brief (or not so brief) History:Jab is a member of the cenarion circle. He is also a constant annoyance with his pranks so he is sent on numerous missions to make sure he is away from moonglade as much as possible. Jab doesnt mind. To him it justs means more people to prank. He was born to a family of trolls in Darkspear tribe. He lived a hard life with his fathers constant beatings and his mother being gone. He grew up pulling pranks to bring a smile to his face and others(once they stoped being angry that is) and to this day he wants to make the world a better place through laughter. He saw the path of a druid would be best to do that but was a complete failure at healing. He took up feral fighting and was found a natural and after a few months of training he was recruited by the cenarion circle. With them he saw his life in a new light. |

Accepted Jab, I like your character, we need a light-hearted character like that in the thread. In your initial post you can sneak Jab in with Ellyse and Randolf like Istella did with Jinzumi, or you can simply post about arriving at the Caverns of Time via some sort of summons, then I will get you to the island. :> |

xD I hope I didn't goo TOO overboard with Aelfdene's room, and I don't know all the details of the magic at work, but I can edit any issues. Blood elf architecture is something that seems very exotic to me, and I thought they'd readily supply a tailor with stuff to help others out in the group.

Nope, I enjoyed reading the description very much. I did say the rooms were constructed and furnished to your race's standards, and while they are a bit short-handed at the moment dealing with D-wing, it wouldn't take much for the Bronze to ensure the comfort of their heroes. Not overboard at all considering:

Yay! I was hoping to establish some good setting. Oh, and I did have Aelfdene leave the door ajar on purpose, so anyone that wants to wander in can do so.
I have to say, though, the blood elf buildings and styles almost remind me of Arabic designs. Arches, domes, shaped doorways, silks and gold... almost kinda Persian. It puts a very interesting twist on blood elf culture. |

Jab, even though your entry post just barely meets my 6-line minimum, I'm going to politely ask you to expand on it a bit. Read some of the other posts by other participants, they are very descriptive and insightful. You can write about many things: go into more detail about Jab's appearance since you didn't give too much information in the sign-up; write about what Jab is thinking upon seeing the strange sights of the Caverns of Time; write more of a reaction to the stink bomb on the dragon's head; describe Jab's journey to the Caverns in more detail; etc.
I don't expect every post to be a novel, but I do think you should get started on the right foot. Even though I have a six line minimum, I do expect most posts to far exceed this. |
