I don't use any remote app myself but I have a friend who does, and this bug is clearly related to her use of it:

When I whisper her character the name is doubled in the message I get in my chat box.
I get:
To [NameName]: <message>

Her charname (neither of them) is also not the color of her class.

When she sends a whisper to me the name is not doubled and seems fine, including class color.

I know this is minor, but I figured a bug is a bug so I'm reporting it.

Interesting. I haven't encountered this issue myself. What is the name and realm of this character?

Has anyone else that she whispers seen the same thing?

Just thought to check this for replies just now, sorry.

Her charname is (see original) and the realm is Twisting Nether.
I don't know if other people see this bug when whispering her.

Also it looks like I forgot to mention that this is when I whisper her character while she is logged on via remote. I haven't actually tried whispering her that way while she is on the normal client.

Another thing that may affect it is the client I use is the Mac version.

Edited out her charname. I don't know if she wants the fact that shes female out there.

It's very likely that she is logged into multiple clients, WoW and Guild chat via the Mobile Armory. You may wish to ask her if she's logged into multiple remote devices and/or WoW at the same time.
