Timezone differences may well prevent me from coming, but I wanted to thank Gunstrak and all the other organisers for putting this together - I think it's awesome that these events still happen, and it's what allows a server to actually create some community.
As for locations, I will just say that Blasted Lands brought to mind really bad memories of Kazzak griefing - but in fairness, that also makes it a bit of nice hat off to Vanilla WoW.... |

Blasted Lands, Burning Steppes, and Searing Gorge could all be fun places for this actually...

(( Per the location, I've personally always had my heart set on Dustwallow Marsh/Theramore, imo. I would say the Northern Headlands of Gilneas if the entire zone weren't heavily-phased. ))

Please no Dustwallow Marsh. I don't like that place *at all*. I'm still for the Blasted Lands. But heck, all this talk about world pvp is getting me excited anyway. I honestly think I don't care anymore, I just want it to happen! /foams-at-mouth |

Count me in.
I'll do what I can to help organize and lead the Alliance side. With the war gearing up in Pandaria and the foreboding news about Theramore, I think the Alliance should be ready to rally for war! Barring Dustwallow, I'd vote Feralas or Southern Barrens. South Barrens would be a nice prelude to what we think is coming for Theramore. I'm not keen on Silithus. It may be an open area, but.....it's just so terribly irrelevant to anything. It was marginally relevant when it was introduced outside of the AQ patch and is otherwise sorta just....there. Even with the Cataclysm revamp! XD |

I keep hearing all this talk about Theramore and that something big is happening there. Is there lore on the WoW website about it? Or is this info gained purely from questing??

Sounds like a lot of fun. Now to decide which faction to be on.

It hasn't happened yet. Blizzard's Taiwan website accidentally posted information that the Horde will destroy Theramore in the next expansion. That's it. There's no information to support it ingame yet. |

Zul'gurub is a very bad idea. While killing snakes for that critter achievement, a little gnome had a quest to do there. He had to fight the new veronxis, part way through the fight an event occurs which kills Vernoxis and anyone in the area.
So undaunted I continued, a second ally quest person arrived and the fight started, so I left and went up much farther, across one of the bridges and still died. It could be a zone wide occurrence. So, in essence all it takes is one level thirty something ally to wipe everybody. Not a good idea. Aesthetically good, technically bad. |

So if any of you want to, you know, fight the alliance sometime between now and this event, please look me up. I also play Sparkleboom, a mage. I can't seem to find anyone for arenas or RBG teams. Well, some, but it's a monumental task to put an RBG team together on Feathermoon. If there are some hiding or keeping to themselves, send your spares out into the world!
