In light of our jam-packed schedule, we’ve decided to hold the next BlizzCon in 2013. I don't even attend Blizzcon and I am extremely sad about this. |

They already said everything in the 2011 about 2012.

I'm disappointed since I was hoping to go this year if I could save up the dough, but I guess it just means that the 2013 one will be twice as good, right?

That's true of the last Blizzcon, but that didn't stop it from being an amazing event to watch. That's true of most Blizzcons, even. Blizzard doesn't release games very often. |

You all realize that the world is ending on december 21st 2012 right?

Wow what a way to not advertise blizz! Blizz can spend on tv but one of the greatest reasons to keep people interested goes down the pipe. They must have lost people who knew what they were doing.

2013 probably means time for titan, so it might be worth going to that one. |

http://gamerfront.net/2012/01/blizzard-confirms-no-blizzcon-for-2012-announces-2012-battle-net-world-championship/15994 Somehow I get the feeling that people go to Blizzcon for the social experience, the treasure trove of game information (even if half of it changes or is speculation), the player-dev experience, and for the chance to try out new games years in advance. I'm sure there are people that go or watch only for the tournaments and e-sports side, but I doubt it. You can watch an e-sports stream or attend MLG multiple times a year, but Blizzcon is a truly unique once-a-year event. |

Oh noes! But how will I get my Jay Mohr fix?
