This is not the first time I've come across this. In this random, we had a ret specced paladin with a 1h mace and shield, and a priest who brought her.
I got told constantly she (pally) was doing "fine" anytime I tried suggesting something. No, you are not doing fine. When me and the hunter are doing 30% of the dps each, and you're sitting at 9%, that is not fine. I might add I never used caps, nor cursed. I also hear "you were new once too". Yes, I was. And you know what I did? I asked a metric crapton of questions and read tons of things online so I wouldn't weigh down others. http://oi39.tinypic.com/2dr6mtt.jpg "Needs to be decent with shield first" What does that even mean? She's ret and said had no plans of tanking. And even if she planned on tanking, It's still beyond me what that means. The fact the instance is a cake walk is not the point, if you can't even gear correctly after being told, how could you possibly hope to do anything like heroics when you get higher? Raids? Don't think so. If either one of them had just said, "you know, i'll look into that" that would've been good enough for me. http://oi40.tinypic.com/2d9plwn.jpg If you're willing to listen to advice and improve, that's great, I'd be happy to help. But telling me to shut up because you're doing fine (despite all evidence to the contrary) is going to get you booted many a time in the future. Luckily it won't be from me, because you'll be on my list. |

This is not the first time I've come across this. In this random, we had a ret specced paladin with a 1h mace and shield, and a priest who brought her. Here's the problem. Paladin is a girl. Priest is a boy. boy wants to impress girl and give her advice. he sees you giving her better advice and is trying to persuade her that his advice is better. maybe eventually he'll get that epoon he's looking for. just ignore and move on. not much you can do when someone's being told lies so she will like the liar. anyway, i would tell her she'll do more damage with 2handers and ignore the shield unless she's out there solo or tanking. then move on. move on. |

Dislike.
This game needs less arrogant holier-than-thou's. Edit: And another thing, the whole "weigh down others" - you chose to get into a group with random people. Go with your guild if you don't like it. |

I'm sorry maybe I'm misreading this, but are you seriously whining that someone isn't optimizing in a random SM graveyard run? Some people just like to figure things out for themselves, and while I agree that more people need to take the initiative and educate less knowledgeable players about min\maxing their class\spec you really do come off as a prick. |

You're in a level 30 instance, in full BoA, and you're epeening about dps in a level 30 dungeon.
Not everyone thinks "Oh boy! I hit level 15 and can queue for dungeons! I'm going to go online and study my class to learn about spells I don't get for 50 levels!". People wonder why new players quit the game. THIS is why. |

Oh I am so sorry the pally could not meet your standards. Don't like them kick them, don't like them ignore them.Sorry my standards include wearing the correct weapon. Feel free to go axe things as a hunter, I'm sure it'll get you far. And once again, don't like them kick them and ignore them. You never have to see them again. Wait, but then you would have nothing to complain about. |

sad op, sad.
Do you realise how much of an A hole you come across as? It's a LEVEL 30 DUNGEON. This is where people cut there teeth and L2P. When you're an adult, try and remember this moment, you will laugh at yourself... like everyone else reading this forum is now. OMG you are the epitomy of what is wrong with this community. |

Mate, you're level 30.
When I was brand new, I was spamming Mongoose Strike and Raptor Strike on my Hunter because I thought it looked cool. When a player is brand new to the game, their priority isn't to learn how to do everything but rather to enjoy the new environments that you consistently find. Once I hit level 80 on my Hunter the first time, I proceeded to learn how to play my class. The thing that bothers me is that you're complaining about a player not optimizing when you're level 30... If you were level 85 and running a Heroic or something, I'd be more inclined to agree with you. When you're in the low level brackets... You're not going to wipe because someones not pulling their weight. Hell, almost every class can solo dungeons of their current level until 85. |

sad op, sad.If they're not going to learn at level 30, when? Tell me that? Will they learn at 65? 73? When? It'll only get worse for them the higher they go. Asking to wear the correct weapon isn't much, I wasn't telling them to go learn a rotation. |

If you are bad and new thats one thing. People can help and give tips, it makes you better. Being new and not listening when people give you a tip is just dumb.

I really doubt you asked them to use a correct weapon, based on your attitude I expect you demanded them too and no wonder they wouldn't listen to you. |

Maybe that same paly will rip you a new one some day. Point is, you're being a d bag and theres no need to be. It's a lvl 30 sm run ffs. |
