So today I was working on an alt and found my way into a bugged quest the liked to instantly kill me. I shrugged, wrote a ticket with the details and moved on. Litterally not a half hour later I get a message from a GM to get it resolved.
During the process, I started to think back to all the GMs I had spoken to over the last seven-ish years. During all this time and the dozens of different GMs I interacted with I could only vaugely remember one in which I had an off experience. Nearly every time has been a delightful and enjoyable, polite opportunity to talk with these people. So to the in-game customer service. Thank you for the years of help, dedication, professionalism, and overally friendly attitudes. Please keep making my experiences with you an enjoyable one. |

I've always had good experiences. The wait time is usually MUCH longer, but I assume they are understaffed and have to deal with a billion things during a normal day. I've had wait times as much as a week.
But thats not really a big deal to me. When I have actually gotten them they've always been very professional. Usually helpful and if not, at least courteous about it. Nice to see them get thanked for what must often be a very thankless job. |

I cant recall any problems either with GM's. No one I know from guilds etc have had problems either unless they caused a problem in the first place.
So yes thankyou and keep it up :D |

I agree. The only time I have had an off experience was the 3rd or 4th month of Cata. It seemed then that all of them thought they had better things to do, but the last few months when I put a ticket in I get very helpful people with good attitudes. Maybe all those surveys i filled out back when they were not good really did show them being nicer to players can solve problems as well as an actual solution.

Usually, when anyone has anything negative to say about a GM experience, it turns out that the player was just asking for something that couldn't be done. I wish more people would realize that "bad customer service", and "being told "no", are not the same thing.

I have always had a great interaction, even if it wasn't the answer I wanted.
My only complaint is when they ask "is there anything else I can do for you," they still haven't given me the Ashes of A'lar I keep asking for! lol |

I wholeheartedly agree with the praise for the GMs. I put in a petition for a name last night before I went to bed, expecting it to take a couple of days. When I woke up, I had gotten a pleasant reply, and the name was available.
My thanks to GM Julgren. |

I've always had wonderful experiences with the GMs and I like how playful they can be with their roleplaying. I also like how they add a personal touch even when I'm found offline to put in the reply note indicating it wasn't just a form letter.
I always give them good feedback on the GM section of the survey even if I don't always give the game glowng marks. |

i also ran into the same quest issue as the OP. Im pretty sure they are talking about the quest in Ulduum where you need to save the prisoner from the Pit. Kept getting one shotted by air. But long story short i also called a GM and i have to say that was the fastest response I have ever gotten in WoW from a GM. The GM ended up Auto-Completing it for me so I would be able to move on with the quest line. Thank you WoW GM's.

I can say the same. I've never had a bad GM experience. Well done, GMs!
(I will say I have had decisions made due to policy I didn't agree with, but that has nothing to do with the courtesy and ability of the GM.) ;) |
