As you already mentioned, in the upcoming patch there is a change to Vial of Shadows that should reduce some of the burst damage you are experiencing in PvP.

Dying in openers certainly isn't fun, and can be incredibly frustrating if you're the one on the receiving end of such a coordinated attack, but don't give up! In addition to perhaps taking some time to focus on other activities such as Rated and unrated Battlegrounds where you have more people to watch your back, you might also consider browsing some PvP videos from other members of the community to not only help inspire you, but to also arm you with a further arsenal of tactics that you can use to your own advantage against opposing teams.

Also, from my own experience, when I was having a lot of trouble against a certain class or spec that I felt countered my usual tactics, I found it helpful to sometimes grab a friend that played that class and spent some time dueling them so that they could critique me on areas where I could improve my skills, including my timing on using certain abilities, and how I could counter some of their own tactics. That way when I stepped back into arenas, I was more confident in my own skills and felt better-prepared for how to expose the weaknesses of my enemies.

Keep at it, and remember there are players out there equally as scared to see you step out onto the Arena floor. :)

Nice to see a blue in here. Please don't make this a semi annual occurance.

While a lot of what you said is true, people are getting frustrated with RMP and other comps where it is almost impossible to stop their opener. It is no fun for anyone to be 100-0 while not in control of your character.

A wild Blue post appears!

Blue post uses Teleport.

Blue post has fled from the battle.

Good advice though, I'd prefer a post about PvE gear being removed in PvP though >.>

No way man, the Developers want pve and pvp to mix even more in the next expansion.
Or penalize the use of pve gear less?

How does that help say a warrior fighting a frost mage? The problem with rogues is they are steamrolling everything because the class is overpowered. Dueling a rogue over and over again will not change this fact and with legendaries the problem is more pronounced. Rogues don't need the vial period. If you took it away completely the class would still be easy mode.

I appreciate your post. I am just saying that for some classes strategy has nothing to do with success or failure. I really think you guys need to rethink PVP class balance because it is not balanced. at all

Now.. I played WOW five years ago on a Mage (gimp at the time) and PVP was about understanding other classes. There was, without a doubt, an element to strategy and game play that came with being a good player in pvp. I would practice dueling with my friends because each time would get better. If I lost a match or duel a lot of blame was on me due to not understanding class counters and proper timing for ability.

The problem with PVP is not like this anymore. PVP is being dominated by overpowered and poorly designed classes that are steamrolling everything. The sooner you guys figure this out the sooner we can start enjoying PVP again because these classes need to be adjusted.. Nerfing frost mages and rogues would be a good start... it is the only start.

First blue post I have seen on the arena forums in....idk I didn't think they even post here.

How about commenting on warriors finally? You know that class that has seen nothing but nerfs to the point where there is no point in playing one in PvP? It would be nice to ya know maybe stop ignorning your customers and actually post in a thread people care about.

None of that will help a Resto Druid. Any other suggestions?
