Really, do they have to shut down the whole server at 9pm?? which is the prime time for entertainment and relaxations? Why don't the Oceanic people get to enjoy as much of the game and follow the West Coast of the US time ? For about 20 million people of Aussies and about 5-10 million New Zealanders and other Pacific and South East Asian countries out there voice up for you rights.. You better get what you paid Equally to the Americans, because I dont think Oceanic time zone people are paying any cent less than the Americans. I hope they could make the Shut down times different. Thanks

This has been an issue since I started playing WOW in late 2006.....it will never change........time to look at the positives! For me Tuesday night is bin night and I will never forget....because I have time to put it out due to no WOW. Just keep thinking that the glass is half full.....not half empty

I've commented on this in the past here, and the answer remains relevant:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3082032916#16 Actually, because of the way cross realm instances work and the long duration of an actual maintenance period, it wouldn't be more convenient for anyone involved. I can't go into too much detail, but such a change would provoke significant technical issues and periods where entire portions of the game world wouldn't be available. There was actually a time prior to cross realm instances when Oceanic maintenance periods were shifted to be more convenient for Oceanic players, but it was necessary to rescind that change for the sake of the realms as a whole. Hopefully, having access to cross realm instances over the course of the week makes up for the less convenient maintenance periods. |

About time too! I remember when a server transfer used to cost us close to 50% extra of the US price! |

SWTOR is coming to Australia 1 March, with servers located in our area, oh yeah no more subscription for you blizz .

If SWTOR released in Australia the same time as America and Europe i would be playing, but to late for them, ill stick to wow.

I've commented on this in the past here, and the answer remains relevant: Yes it does, and here's my relevant post Put an Australian server in Australia. If SWTOR can do it, you can. |

Most bosses In My Experince feel like they are your deity. We (Accept To?) Pay Blizzard Millions + for WOW. Like Shareholders - a little bit of actual power would make us feel Much More Content. (yet most of us are pirates when it comes to music and other crap... ) *Content AS IN State of Being, not talking About new instances. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contentment |

I'm based in West Australia so it's an even bigger hit over here. Have a night off or if you cant then go buy that new game that has Blizzard a bit worried and check out the latency on the Aussie servers for SWTOR.

Ever thought that over the 7 years playing wow in Australia we all should have 1 years free subscription? As every Tuesday night in our prime gaming time its server shut down or restarted always interrupting our paid gaming time... yes blizzard unfortunately most of us work through the day.
I was very angry at last nights down time, 7pm Brisbane time? (Even worse for WA) i just got home from work had dinner and get kicked off... THANKS! that’s money worth spending. TIME TO SPEAK UP AUSTRALIA and NZ |
You have no rights undead........ Seriously though, less game time & more study in your English class. |

So is that what happens in Europe as they have maintenance on a Wednesday instead? |
|
if they cant fix it then why dont they change it so americans dont get to play at a prime time and see them QQ or would that be ruining fun for what they obviously look at as their most important players
