Wow... What Happened to Argent Dawn?

This was my vanilla raiding server, where it all started. So many amazing memories of Last Horse trolling, looking at Polveru and thinking "I want to be that guy" - Gothalion and I leading the charge into Orgrimmar, Kalian telling her baby to stay in her womb until Fankriss is dead...
Now there seems to be nothing, I checked up on old guilds to see if they're still running and... they're not. What happened, Argent Dawn? |

Polveru server transferred just after BC launched (but at least we still have Elem.) Last Horse turned into Squirrelbane (I think) turned into MoK over time which just recently had it's own explosion of sorts. No idea what happened to Gothalion and Kalian off the top of my head.
Time happens, things change, etc etc. Personally I blame Zeez for eating them all. |

Yeah Polveru ended up being on my guild on Steamwheedle Cartel after Booty Bay Yacht Club was a bust.
I just was feeling nostalgic and was really surprised at the lack of progression on this server. Guess it's the fault of people like me leaving it. |

Man, I didn't like Kaeltir. He was a !!%@ to me. So was Niknil.
I miss Githnor's Jersey attitude leading raids in HoA though. I see Ogion is GM of them nowadays. |

I miss Mike and Max's Boston accents along with zeez's snake fluting and vamp I suppose

Many of the old times transferred or just grew tired of the game. Add in the somewhat draconian response by forum mods and the need for an authenticator (which stops a lot of folk who'd normally post during breaks from work) and over 7 years and you end up with a lot less activity here and in-game.
A lot of folk are still around, though, playing assorted alts. |

I know a few horde guilds are on TOR, nice to see some people stick together.

RBG isnt dead on Horde side, we are reviving it =)

Heard that before. Actually spent time gearing out my dk there in all Ruthless because Cooler came back to form an RBG group. It lasted 2 nights. |

Lol he went to diablo II, such a nub! Cool guy though wish he was still playing. We still need a couple of good players, we have a few rotating positions that need filled if we want to hit 2200
