I'll leave it up to the "general body" to make their thoughts known. I'm not really concerned one way or another, I just get a little jumpy every time someone suggests something that could provide ammunition to our detractors. We've managed to establish a fairly good level of "credibility" to date. I would hate for that to crumble because of a well-intentioned act. |

Rules say you can use the AH, so maybe post you whites/greys on there?

I have been lurking here for a while now , figured it was time to say something lol
I love this challenge so far. I hit 30 on my shaman last night and I must admit it is pretty slow going and I am growing increasingly paranoid lol To Kripp: I am rooting for you, I hope you will not have a last minute accident. But you seem to have been playing really careful, so I am confident you will make it! :) I will still keep on leveling my baby shaman, since I have 4! level 85 shamans and I love the class. It is a huge difference though to level in greys and whites and not have that last minute health or mana pot at hand, which could save your life. I mourn all the losses, I hope you all come back and try again :) I noticed most deaths happen when people get too comfortable and too confident, I hope and pray I will not do that as well. lol Good luck to all and remember: Death is only the beginning of uh something new..>.> PS: I am really happy to see the WoW community is more than just complainers and elitists:P And as we see now, even trolls can be awesome :) |

Well, sad to say that I'm giving up this Challenge with Kripp rapidly approaching 85. It's not a competition, yeah right. I was always treating it as such. I blew my chance to be the first 85 in this challenge when I got my level 48 Hunter killed. Of course, if for any reason Kripp fails, I'll be back. But that's very unlikely, so I wish you all farewell. Haven't been on any of my Iron toons tonight. Busy getting others to 85. Sorry to see you go Irony and there are other challenges you know....Me? I would like to be the first Priest(ess) to break 60. Challenge is what you make it..<smiles> Well, in fact I would be delighted to break 60 even if I am not the first. |

As a Priest..be ready to use Scream and Run at a moments notice...and clear yourself an escape route behind you. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII |

Is
It is part of 1st Aid, but it is a non-white/grey item. Is it usable without DQ? |
That is very much what I was hoping someone would say. Thank you. |
|
Btw, on the various realms I'm on, on my higher toons with cash, I am posting whites in the AH for Ironman prices (I'm Ironshin - new reroll a gnome lock, currently lvl 7). Thought I'd let you know that some of us bigger toons are trying to help. :)

My Main, i Joined Alli and am going for this! Any friends from Blackhand, cheer for me! Alli: Jinjab, Worgen Priest |

Gratz on 44 Renace, as I said on my previous post its the community enthusiasm that encouraged me to continue after 4 attempts.
You're one of those positive people cheering the rest of us, so I hope you keep going forward. I'm working my way on my human warrior Lyonfury@WyrmrestAccord Hope Kripp make it soon because that will be a boost of morale +10 for the rest of us (wowcrendor) lol |
I think I'm done with the challenge otherwise. I just can't get into it anymore. I may try and force myself to do the Priest for awhile though. We'll see what happens. Sorry to lose you Possible. Perhaps when you feel refreshed and less frustrated, bring in a toon as a side project, just to occasionally play? Because as you know.....85 is Possible :D In any case, Happy Hunting |

I must make haste. Reeking of old leaves and fox poo (who knew the ingredients of cammoflage?), my escort from the elite Stormwind Troopers and I sneak through Render's Valley to steal a key and release the hundreds of prisoners held by the Blackrock Orcs. With those prisoners released, we can turn the valley into an inferno, eliminating the Blackrock Orc threat for all time. With tools from the alliance field kit, we distract the first line of sentries and chloryform a half drunk reveler at the beer wagon. Leaving the reveler dreaming of the hangover to come, we advance futher into the valley. Crouching behind a final tree, I see the entrance to the cave in which the key is stored. In front are two elite blackrock orcs and . . . . . . . . a dragon rider. This would be a good time to retreat however my escort says, "Piece of cake" and prods me forward. A distraction taken from the field kit works to draw the guards from the front of the cave and also serves to turn the dragon and rider toward the middle of the camp. We quick step into the cavern almost blundering into a guard. A quick chloroform to that guard and we have the key. The prisoners are as good as out. Turning back to the front of the cave, we launch another distraction out into the camp and all eyes go there as we sprint out of the cave away from the dragon. As we round a wall of rock, we hear a noise behind us. Turning, I see a human warlock running with an Orc at his heals. The warlock runs up screaming to be saved. I stay hidden as the elites would surely send me to meet my sister. However, my escort is much more chivalrous and immediately attacks the pursuing Orc. Luckily my escort turns the Orc away from me and I am able to apply Chloroform to the Orc rendering him unconscious. I breath a sigh of relief, which turns into a gasp o horror - we are still in combat! The orc will wake and continue to the chase. I run to the nearest valley exit, leaving the escort behind, hoping to outdistance pursuit and come back another day. As I run I hear my escort engage the Orc. I look back to see the escort cut down and the blazing red eyes of the Orc turn to me. I dodge into the trees continuing to hide and run as I can. The orc calls for reinforcements; they trap me against granite and, without a word, close in. . . . . -- So ends the Aironnic (Cairen) Ironman Gauntlet. However, as Aironnic picked the family honor and pushed forward after the passing of Ironnic, so Bironnic will pick up and pursue the holy grail, keeping hope alive. -- Avoid the Elites! :-) |
I have a couple "spare" challengers, that I started when I was too comfortable, confident or tired to ensure Renace's survival, lol. At this point I would be seriously distraught to lose her. But the level 10's? A bit bummed maybe, but not that much. Gratz on 44 Renace, as I said on my previous post its the community enthusiasm that encouraged me to continue after 4 attempts. Thank you :D This is my 3d toon. The first I voluntarily (but sadly) deleted at 37 for an early infraction, the second died at 46. Hmmmm, that means I made 83 levels without dying, not so bad (j/k, there is a big difference between starting levels and near-max levels.) In the coming weeks I may be playing my Challenger toons a little less....I've been neglecting my other WoW life for this one rather badly. But, I will keep plugging along slowly, I LOVE the IMC. And I'll continue to be a regular in the forum, so I hope the stories (both RP and just descriptive) keep coming. Yesterday, at 40, I had the cave quest in Thousand Needles to do. That is the same quest that killed my Aguantar at 46, although she died purely to stupidity. Although I know how to do it correctly now, I still skipped it. It just felt jinxed. Maybe I'll come back at 46 :) I moved over to the 2 plaguelands, where the quests started out green and now are yellow. Honestly, I think green quests level me faster because I don't need to be so paranoid-cautious. Kipp: gogogo, make it all the way! Everyone: stay lively!! |

Ironfrost's journal (redridge part 1)
"How bad could a bunch of gnolls be?" That was the first thought that had crossed my mind when I volunteered to help in Redridge. Pesky things seemed a bit more organized then I thought they would be, anf id that wasn't enough, there's orcs here too. At least I managed to prevent an attack on Lakeshire. After that, I was sent to get some items belonging to a guy by the name of John J. Keeshan as well as rescue "Bravo Company." I nearly died helping Messner get the key to Jorgensen's cage, but thankfully I Shadowmelded out of sight. After that, it was pretty much smooth sailing rescuing the other two members. They've let me rest, so I decided to take a trip to Stormwind and pick up some riding training. I supposed I would used this winged horse thing that was sent to me from an unknown person ( |
So ends the Aironnic (Cairen) Ironman Gauntlet. Sorry for your loss, but very glad to see you pick up and carry forward. I love your naming convention :) |

HELP! Someone just killed one of my mobs. Does that DQ me?? They're not in group and I had no idea they ran up behind me while I was killing it.
Btw, the only reason I'm concerned is because the tracking site flags you if your honor/exp-gaining kills are higher than your killing blows. |

Thank you for all of that Possible! I'm glad to see some of the thoughts I've had about what strategies to use once I finally get high enough level to have stance mastery are on the right track. Now I just need to stop playing like Loremaster is the goal and getting myself killed on stupid quests..... Oh and I'm all over buying that dagger off you when I get to 70 (and I will get there dammit!); I've been checking the AH for it everyday lol |
HELP! Someone just killed one of my mobs. Does that DQ me?? They're not in group and I had no idea they ran up behind me while I was killing it. Don't worry about it! The site flags you if your you only have killing blows on less than 90% of your kills. If you're playing normally you will never come anywhere close to having that happen. |
