A party of 30 orcs were marching across the Thandol Span and their boots could be heard from the dwarf's spot on the mountain side. He had known that orcs would be coming to Ironforge after Stormwind was taken. He had expected more troops than what he saw here though. Only 30 orcs to take Ironforge? How did they get past the Wildhammers with that small force? The dwarf shifted his postion and accidently snapped a branch lying on the ground. One orc snapped his head around and saw the dwarf crouching next to a tree. The orc shouted something in his native language and 3 arrows pierced the dwarf's mail hauberk while 2 of them went off behind him or fell short. He made one grunt of suprise and then was silenced by an arrow into the forehead.

Far away from the Thandol Span a dwarf was riding to Ironforge from Kharanos. His ram was at full speed, he sped through Ironforge's gates and dismounted his ram, by leaping off it's back, when he reached the Great Forge. He turned right and reached the High Seat and kneeled before The Council of Three Hammers. He looked up and said, "My lords and lady, our scout in the Wetlands has not reported to us for 2 weeks and was found dead this morning. We believe orcs to be the cause of his death." The dwarf looked at Falstad Wildhammer and contuined "I believe the Wildhammers are familiar with them?" He nodded. "They have troubled our people for years in the Highlands." The other dwarf held up an a broken arrow and said " This arrow was found sticking out of the ground just north of Dun Modr. He was sent to report on the repairing of the Thandol Span, we had only just heard that the pieces of the bridge had been recovered."

Muradin looked up and spoke, "Stormwind was deystroyed by an unknown force just 7 weeks ago. We couldn't use the Tram to gain acces and anyone we sent to Stormwind never came back. If what you say is true than we are trapped. We have an unknown enemy to the south and a party of orcs in the north." Falstaad looked at Moria, "Moria do you have any say on what to do? If the Dark Irons could help us we would appreciate it."

Moria turned her head and whispered "That is the only problem though, I lost contact with the Dark Irons probaly around the same time that the scout died." Muradin then spoke, "The Orcs are coming for us and the only way out that I can see his to fight. Prepare all the steam engines and get everyone inside Ironforge, we need to fortify ourselves."

A book satchel hangs from his waist with his book that he writes in. Gun with a crosshair metal piece at the end of the barrel is slung over his shoulder.

(Actually have book in-game, it is 20 pages so far about all his Cata adventures. Has Vash'jr, Deepholm, Uldum and Twilight Highlands....been a work in progress, took me about a month of writing during flight, in queue, and whenever I had to wait for something :) )

Hi there.

Um, I'm fairly new to RP (I'm learning! But new!) and I was wondering whether you'd accept a 'beginner'.
I can do fairly decent posts when I put my mind to it (don't worry about spelling or grammar) and I wanted to join this, because it seemed like a cool idea.

So, with that in mind, would I be able to join?

Sure, this was actually my first time making a new thread in the RP forum so I'm glad to have a new person join. This was my attempt at bringing back the old RP that I use to do on here. (This was based off of one of the old threads, look at my posts and you'll see some on the Battle For Stormwind, that was a VERY good post and I'm having this be the afterwards.) Just don't mary sue (be the perfect character) or god mod (say that you do the impossible)

Edit: It use to be on my posts screen but that was about 2 years to 1 year ago so I guess it is too old.

Name: Delilah Anderson, but she goes by Del

Race: Human

Class: Priest (Holy)

Faction: (Dwarf Clans, Gnome, Human or Horde Race) : Human

Equipment: Del prefers cloth over plate, mail, and leather. She wields a two handed staff, which is usually slung over her back, and favors her purple, gold, and dark brown/black color scheme. She wears a thin gold chain with a heart shaped locket on it, her one piece of jewelry, and treasure. Del is tall for a human, almost 6ft in height, and weighs about 145 lbs. She has a slim but sturdy build. Her skin is dark, and so are her eyes. Her jet black hair is long, but usually put up in a messy bun, so it stays out of her face. She has no tattoos, but has a long scar from her knee to ankle on her right leg, due to an incident with a wolf when she was 13.

History: Del is 25 years old. She was in Ironforge doing research on the Dark Iron dwarves during the attack on Stormwind. As to why she was doing research, she will tell no one.

[Edit: That's what I got. I have a short history (and when I say short, I mean very short) for her, if you want that to. Any suggestions would be helpful, because as stated above, I'm fairly new to RP, and I'm willing to learn.]

Yes Grumdurr that is fine, don't have to but if you wanted you could give him more detials, like battle scars, eyepatch ( lol :P) or anything else about appearance

(This works for you too Del, and yes if you want to put in a history you can. Just it isn't needed for this RP because most of it will be battle....We could put in a little backstory there if we wanted like say telling how Del ran away from Stormwind to Ironforge for a safe haven or use the Tram before it was blocked. By humans I meant any survivors/ people who weren't present at the battle for stormwind)

Oh okay. One last question before I finish editing, how will the RP start? Will the people already know about the orcs? Or will they be 'in the dark' as it were?

Equipment: Long Oak staff, Thick Leather Armour covered by a silk robe bearing the symbol of the Cenarion circle. Dezarron is adept at using the power of nature to cripple his enemies however he prefers to use the claws of his cat form to cut down his foes.

History:On assignment as an ambassador in Ironforge. He hates being in a city made of metal with little no wildlife and no plants. His undeying loyalty and sense of duty to the Cenarion circle trumps his hatred of the city however.

(I hope that is suffient and that i didnt destroy the lore to much. It has been a long long time since I have done one of these.Any corrections needed or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.)

Dezarran, as far as I know, you didn't destroy lore at all. :P I mean, as long as you have a reason to be in Ironforge and help, I don't see why you couldn't be a...warlock who hates everybody, etc.

But that's just my opinion...

Name: Hicombat: [Mosby Mannors]

Race: Gnome

Class: Protection Warrior

Faction: Gnomeregan [Could not resist as a Gnome, I'll make the time to back Ironforge, great topic!]

Equipment: Heavy Plate Armor, Keeshan's headband with Plate Helm, Sword and Shield, enchanted. [I'm going to focus on cc's and pvp as that seems to be the type of raid, but mainly Tank]. Hicombat, like many Gnomes, grew up in Dwarven society. He's been in the mines since he was twelve and drinking in the pubs just as long. His Gnomish ingenuity led him into enchanting to his parent's approval, yet his upbringing and environment led him into Mining and being a Warrior, the lure of wealth and reputation being too much, to his parent's disapproval. Such is the Dwarven influence on an impressionable youth. He's had his adventures and made his reputation, he calls Kharanos home so when the call goes out he responds. [I'm out of retirement, so I don't know much about the Cata, but I can stah nd where I need to be and get beat on :)] Hicombat is happiest in the front lines, considering himself a wall between allies and enemies, and will tend to charge in.

As far as Unique or Sentimental equipment, you might notice the Red Headband, (under a helmet), and a Silver Bow, composite style, made from the horns of a small dragon earned while fighting the Blackrock Orcs with John J Keeshan.

Short Hist: [Del threw one in and this is rp :)] Hicombat is 23 years old with a lean build and no discernible scars, however a critical eye would recognize the thicker bone structure and tough skin of a person that has received multiple heals. He has the tough hands of a working man, and the advanced constitution and resilience of a miner. He will be in Kharanos when word gets out, working in the mines, and will respond to Ironforge's interest when the call is made.

@Dezarran: I agree with Del, it will be great to have a feral druid in the ranks and totally believable that you would be in Ironforge and respond.

I should explain though, I believe that a gnome tank uses angles and avoidance to create aggro. I can imagine a group would become quite frustrated at not being able to crush a small opponent like a gnome. I should seem like a small metalic golem, seemingly impervious to damage and more metal than flesh.

On a different subject, but still about gnomes, my last Darkmoon Faire fortune said "Do not punt a gnome without due cause." XD

Short History: Gifted merchant from Kezan turned mercenary, Alcibades learned of his affinity for elemental combat at a young age. Quick witted and highly intelligent, he decided to lend his considerable talent to aid the Horde in it's attack on Ironforge.

As for how it will begin, most people will know about Stormwind being deystroyed and that an army is down south, but the orcs is new to Muradin, Falstad, and Moria so not many will know about it. If you wanted to be a 'higher-up' you could say that you were in the High Seat when it happened but for the most part we are in the dark on it.
