Shadow bite crits 4k resil for 20k+

Why?

Yes, and i think warlocks would prefer their pet not hitting twice as hard as them as well.

I dont mean actually give the warlock the shadow bite spell. Reduce felhunter damage to that of a non bm hunter pet and increase the locks damage to compensate.

I find it hillarious though how hunters claim things that affect their melee pets on fights hurt them more than locks when a felhunter does a higher percent of total damage for affliction and demo than pretty much any of their specs. It's really silly that it does that much though and the damage needs to get loaded into something on the lock.

this^ sometimes i find myself behind a pillar with 1 or 2 dots on me but im still freaking out trying to root the felhunter cause if i dont i might eat a 20-25k bite from a P.E.T. |
I would have no problem with that. I am certainly not a fan of being a 'dot' class with dots that tick no harder then they did at 80. |
This....lol.... That's like saying Let's take Kill Command away from Hunters... LOL LOL LOL |
Sorry posted it on the wrong chara. |
I wish locks had a chance to use shadow bite as a player ability, I would love to see all the locks complaining that they can't use Shadow bite because their pet is out of range =P and together try to get range extension of Pet abilities and Kill Command. |

Didn't you get the memo? Shadowbite is the only "burst" damage afflocks get. If you have "one or two" dots on you, you're not going to get crit for 20K. Dispel the dots and guess how hard shadow bite hits? |
|
As has already been said, Shadowbite is literally the only thing in an Afflock's arsenal that hits for more than a tickle, and it requires multiple dots on the target to do so. It is also a melee ability attached to a pet with no gap closers.
If "Why?" means "Why don't Afflocks get to hit this hard from something other than a pet?" rather than "Why does this hit so hard?"....then most Warlocks will ask the same question. |

Which hunters are complaining about that? In PvE I'm glad they devalued our pet's contribution for two of the three specs. Incidentally, your demon in affliction does nowhere near the percentage of damage done by a beast mastery hunter's pet. All demons combined in demonology is typically lower than the pet contribution for a beast mastery pet. Demonology tends to be between 30% and 35%, while beast mastery tends to be between 35% and 40%. |
Fixed by making pet hit boxes smaller so pets move inside the boss's hit box to attack, not sure why blizzard hasn't done this yet. |

Because it's an easy class.
