Top 5 World Dps Rogue looking for home

I posted this on the guild recruit forum but I will post here as well. I am willing to be much more flexible since this is my home server and the transition will be much easier on me. I still would like a guild that is at least 3/8 HM
My 10 man is probably going to be dissolving soon as several of our players are college students who are having a hard time balancing both WoW and school, and our main tank just started a new job. I am currently 3/8HM but I can assure you that our progress is due to the fact that we raid 5 hours a week, and not a lack of skill. I am willing to play any day, any evening time with 100% raid attendance. I am not looking for a 3/8 HM guild that raids 4 nights a week. If you raid 4 nights a week you had better be 5/8HM minimum. In exchange for having one of the best rogues in the world on your team I need 4 things: 1. I must be able to loot the legendary item quest immediately. I will not wait for another rogue to finish. 2. I must have a raid spot available to me 100% of the time, I am not server transferring or leaving my friends here to sit because you have too many raiders. 3. I really prefer a guild that raids less than 10 hours a week but I am willing to raid up to 12. If it sounds like I am demanding, it's because I am. In return for you meeting my demands, I promise you that you will be adding one of the best players in the world to your team. A No-drama player that will show up for every raid on time and ready to go and will blow whatever expectations you have from me out of the water. That is my guarantee to you. Because it is top 5 in the world. Would you feel better if I said top 100 because of my Ultra parse? Or top 50 because of my Black Horn parse, what difference does it make? You looked at the post didn't you? It's called marketing.
Now all you have done is make an honest attempt at finding a genuine home into an unnecessarily negative post. My friends that I love playing with can't raid anymore and I am already upset about losing my team. Now I have to deal with forum trash talk from someone I have never played with or spoken with? Thank you for being a jerk for absolutely no reason. If you want the honest truth. I am not a top 5 rogue in the world. I am the BEST rogue in the world. Take a look at my gear and my raids dps and tell me how the hell only 100 rogues have done better than me on Ultra. If i had the gear that they did and Legendaries and a raid pushing like me it would be a joke. Do I think highly of myself. YUHP, and anyone else who plays this game as well as I do would say the same thing. |
This isn't an honest attempt. You're misrepresenting yourself by claiming a deprecated top 5 parse is indicative of your skill. I could claim that I have a drug that a scientific study has shown to be 95% effective at curing cancer. Would you buy it? Of course, I'd be neglecting to mention the 500 other studies of the same drug that showed it performing no better than a placebo. That's why marketing in the real world is regulated - because you can make extraordinary claims that aren't representative of the actual product that you offer without technically lying. Fortunately for you, there is no regulation on idiocy in the wow forums: You can trumpet your parse as being representative of your actual performance, and make unrealistic demands of the people who might recruit you. I figured the 45k parse in 10 man ultraxian in terrible gear spoke for itself. I guess there is no pleasing anyone these days. Everyone automatically assumes they are better than you because it makes them feel better. I posted this EXACT same post on the guild recruitment forum and already have had about 10 6/8 HM guilds contact me asking me to join.
You guys are unreal, and the reason why people tend to shy away from these forums. I am sorry I have top 5 in the world on that fight, I shouldn't ever bring up my accomplishments when I am looking for honest recruitment. Top 50 rogue in the world, Top 100, top 1000? No matter what I said you in-genuine internet champions would find something wrong with a post just to make yourself feel better about your skill level. I posted what I wanted from a guild because I pay my 15 dollars a month to enjoy the game. I know what I need to enjoy the game and I am not going to waste your time or mine by not setting up proper expectations. If you don't like my demands, that is perfectly fine. I appreciate you at least taking the time to look at the post, and in return I hope you respect me for not wasting your time on me when in the end what I want from a guild isn't something that you could provide me. As I stated in the OP, If I have to spend sixty dollars to server transfer to a guild where I know absolutely NOONE and I have to leave my friends on Mal'ganis behind, you can bet that I am going to be very, very, very picky about where I go. However, If a guild on Mal'ganis was interested in me, I would be much more accommodating and willing to compromise in order to stay and play here. I know what you guys want from recruits. Someone who is humble, willing to take instruction, and willing to bend to the will of the guild they are applying at. This is not my first rodeo. While I may be confident in my abilities, it does not mean I am an arrogant prick. I am genuine, kind, loyal, and honest and incredibly helpful to anyone who asks for help. Ask anyone who has played with me and you will find nothing but affirmations of everything I have said. I think that is a much more resounding testament to my worth as a player and person than your random internet hate. Ask anyone in the world who is the very best or close to the best at any given task and they will tell you they think they are the best. Ask Kobe, Lebron, Michael, Kareem who the best ever was and you will get 4 different answers. You have to believe you can be the best or you won't ever achieve it. If I genuinely feel that another rogue is better than me, then I am right. Just that defeatest mentality alone, makes him a stronger player than me. Thanks to anyone who stopped in to actually take a look at recruitment instead of random internet bashing. Like I told Synapse in game, while I don't understand the random hate, I don't hold grudges. If Seraph, Chainfire, or Aftermath need a sicko rogue, hit me up. |
