I joined the ironman challenge ( http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4015202822?page=1 ) last week, and created my character on 2/6. She up to level 13 as of last Friday. I've been trying to post on her since last Thursday, but she doesn't appear on the list when I try to select a different character on which to post. When I clicked the 'manage characters' option at the bottom of the list, I have exactly 50 characters in the list (not including my ironman toon), and I wondered if that might be the issue...that I've hit a hard limit and have to delete some characters so that my more recently-created characters will show up.

My battlenet account has 2 wow accounts linked to it, my main account and a secondary account that's been inactive for months. The second account is a battle chest account, not a trial, so I don't believe it can be removed from my battlenet account based on other forum posts I've read. A decent chunk of the characters on the second account are lvl 1 characters for holiday achieves, etc. (lvl 1 rogues named tryptophan, turkeylurker, passdestuffin, grimgobbler, etc. for the thanksgiving achieve, for example). A couple, like the one on which I'm posting, are from my failed attempt at the arena tournament last year.

Is the problem that I have more than 50 characters associated with the battlenet account, or another issue? If it is a 50 character problem, is there a way to delete all the level 1's from the inactive account or remove them for the list of characters for posting on the forums without me having to reactivate the account for a month just to delete them?

I'd really like to post on my ironman character, so I can offically join the fray. Thank you! :)

It can take a really long time for the deleted characters to purge out of the drop down list. You can try posting over in the Website forums to see if they can clear anything for you, but it's generally just a waiting game.
