I've always wanted to roleplay but this server seems a bit dank when coming upon the issue. When I first joined this server, I could always find open roleplayers moseying around Silvermoon. Now it seems I have to bear a certain guild name to even consider it. Instead of fleeing elsewhere to where pastures seem to be greener as some guilds/individuals have done, I'd like to try to rekindle what remains.

So consider this as a role-call to those who are still about. If you're a roleplayer and are interested in trying to spark some life back into this server, please send me a mail or something. I'd like to see things going on, but obviously I can't do it alone. :p

Also, this probably only applies to horde-side seeing as I have no idea what is going on over in the Alliance world. :o

The Blacktooth Grin is an rp/wpvp guild, and we have several active rp story lines at any given moment. We also coordinate rp events with other Horde and Alliance guilds when we can, but there is always rp going on within the guild.

Feel free to whisper an officer in game for more information.

I respect anyone's decision to transfer off, but coming back to troll veco forms after they do is disrespectful. I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish.

I'm fine with them coming back to poke in, always fine with that. Not fine with the constant transfers coming over to poach/troll/what have you. I could easily be mistaking the intentions of the post, and that's what I am hoping is the case.

Quitters aren't historically champs in the restraint department. But enough about that primarily SWTOR guild that can't fix its membership issues even by paying real money to transfer to the most populated RP-PVP server in the U.S., we got somebody here asking about VeCo RP and I wanna do what I can to help.

What kind of RP are you interested in, kid? Political intrigue? War machine? Do you have a character bio already kinda hashed out?

You're right, sorry. :)

Not sure how Horde side is, but if it's anything like Alliance is right now, a lot of RP appears to be within guilds and in specific hot spots. KoD's claimed town, for instance, is a pretty good spot for RP. Does the Grin RP any out in Desolation Hold? Might not be a bad thing to check out.

They are trying to strip out the remaining segments of the Veco community. I wouldn't be surprised if they've made the transfer suggestion to the other Dread Horde guilds.

I was under the impression that Enclave was the only important guild on the server.

Not gonna lie, we were thinking of going too, but we're sticking around as long as BTG and Haze keep throwing us some competition.

We are still here, although here on the Bluff we'd probably be considered lighter-RP. We don't do complex story arcs, but are almost 100% IC Shu'Halo in public.

Our numbers have thinned a bit, but you can usually find us enjoying our beloved pond on the Main Rise of Thunder Bluff.

Holler out if you see us about--not all of our membership is RP, but we will respond in-kind to anyone approaching us IC. As any good tauren, we tend to keep a low profile when in other cities, as our size tends to bring enough unwanted attention as it is, but will gladly share a tale with anyone who has the ears to listen. And elves have such great ears!

Ya know what... I heard from people on VeCo that were upset and complaining to DV about someone posting here. I guess I found the thread.

Sorry we had someone come back here and post "Join us. JOIN US. Plus look how cuddly I am!". Sorry for his big long recruitment rant, or for even mentioning what server we were on. It won't happen again. We wished VeCo the best of luck, and if you think trashing other guilds that you know nothing about is the way to unite VeCo, so be it. Our guild membership is happily gaming, and doing our thing.

EDIT: And Charax, sorry for pointing out something that I had heard. Yea, looks like DV is really out there plotting away VeCo's destruction. Right, that is all we worry about. Thanks for assuming so much. Hope things work out for you.

Some roleplayers are still around. I know I am not planning on transferring off anytime soon.
