LFGuild .... after a few years

Howdy y'all. Some a youse might remember me, some a youse might not, ya do or ya don't, ain't no never-you-mind ta me.
Anyway, whut I'mma askin' today is this: I'm a lookin fer a home agin. Nuthin against my old one, jest, well, they's great folks an' all, but things done gotten mighty quiet around those parts, too quiet even fer me, so I'm a lookin fer a new place ta lay mah head and hang mah hat. If ya know wut I mean. Mah needs is simple: 1: Y'all are okay with a hooter wut speaks IC'ly most times. And y'all is okay with me bein a bit of a goof when it comes ta RP'in. (I play for funny and occasionally touching, NOT for romance, high drama, or any of that hooey. I'm just this Tauren dude, y'know?) 2: Y'all don't mind he occasional random omelette of dubious provenance 3: Y'all gots enough folks among ya that there's always someone on ta chat at, listen to, or blow stuff up with 4: Y'all fields a raid team or two at times later in the evenin - I don't need no heroics or nuthin, just good times with good folks. And I know, you inspects me, yer gonna see I ain't optimized at present, but it're a matter of hours ta git there, so that ain't no worry. I know my class/spec combo pretty durn well, and I know how to use da interwebs. 5: Y'all is, well, there ain't too pretty a way ta say this ta this one, y'all ain't a buncha sick, twisted, evil sunzabeeshes. Manners, decency, and treatin yer fellow Azerothians like you yerself would wanna be treated is important ta me - both IC and OOC. I saves the drama fer the stage, where it damn well belongs. What y'all gets from me: 1: On reliably and regularly most nights during the week from 8:00-8:30 to about 10:30-11:00 2: team player, willing to help folks on that are on same time as me (I.E. I'll do runs with you, help you with achievements, etc... I will not help folks level or quest usually. I do not do "scheduled rp", as it is too time consuming, and I am not a source for gold. Improv is god, and helping someone do something is better than helping someone buy something.) 3: I am extremely GBank Light. I don't use GBanks unless I absolutely must. 4: Zero Drama (seriously, I give "laid back" a whole new definition.) 5: I have been told, on more than one occasion, that I can be somewhat amusing. 6: I don't guild hop. My pattern, developed over the course of the lifetime of the game, is to pick a guild, and stick with it for a couple years. My guild experience is as follows: Sin after Sin (for a short while), AAMS (founder), Eternal Sorrow (back in vanilla), AAMS again, Ishnu Por Ah. So it's a pretty safe bet that you can rely on me throughout all of MoP and well into whatever comes next. So, any a you folks out there know of a guild what has room for a big ole fuzzy ancient like mahself? Y'all can speak up hre, or send me an in-game message. *shameless plug ahead* I'd suggest maybe giving Homeland a look. ^^ We're quite laid-back, there's always RP or something random IC going on, and most of us are of neutral or good alignments and dispositions. I started with Homeland over the summer and I have nothing but good things to say about the group, and about the atmosphere.
The only drawback I perceive, based on your interests, is that we don't raid especially regularly, at least not to my knowledge. One of the Elders might know better than I do. I think we're trying to get a few more raids in, going forward, though, on Sundays. Barring that, I highly recommend Homeland. Poni is the best. Homeland people are great. It's a wonderful rp guild that is also active and doing a lot of dungeons. Poni and crew are laid back and yet seeing much of the game content. Win/Win. |

Herm, yes, well, I'll give Homeland a poke tonight then. (I tried going through the Guild Finder tool last night, it just seems so...impersonal and icky.... looking for a guild shouldn't be like looking for a group for a dungeon run. You're going to be spending serious time with hse folks...)

Homeland does have a forum page, yes. And there are usually a few of us on at any given time, a lack of us is rather uncommon.
