are warriors truly broken in pvp?

Edited, because i had a new question.
I love the warrior class, and i am not going to say i am the best pvp player but, i have noticed a lot of hate from our own kind in regards to how we are in pvp. i want to know are we truly horrible? I do like the warrior class, but why bother when its more then hard to take down any class. with a new xpac coming sometime, i am wondering if i should hang up my warrior and level something else, or stick with it. i do like the class and the mechanics, but i would take a bit more utility/cc even if it meant toning down our dps. Reverse spell reflect, bring back intercept some stuff like that. It would be nice to get some more cc, and change our style a bit instead of having a ramp up way of damage, by needing 3 stacks of Lambs to the slaughter. When you can't stay on target it's hard keeping 3 stacks up. Does thunder clap reduce casting time as well? Or just melee attack speed? |

I really don't know why anyone would pvp as a warrior over a death knight at this point.
I'm no expert on the matter, but it seems they can do almost everything warriors can, only way better. I just heal people on this paladin now. |

There fine, they just don't have as much utility as most classes and our mobility is !@#$.
Just requires our skill cap to be a little higher to compete with other classes. |
There fine, they just don't have as much utility as most classes and our mobility is !@#$. But he's saying that we need a higher skill to compete. Skillcap increasing/decreasing, etc, is irrelevant.
Real classes are supposed to struggle in arena? |

I Pvp as arms and I top bg charts all day, I use no macros no keybinds and never have a healer, I heard we were broke so I geared up and tested the theory, warriors are fine in pvp

Anyone can top bg charts if the team is good, but if its a bad team I doubt players won't be top unless certain opponents are bots or bad players. Yes warriors are fine in pvp but they are at a disadvantage in a lot of ways. As I said before after patch 4.0.6 warriors went down hill to becoming the underdogs of this expansion. |

Sure if you're just messing around in BGs they're alright, but when people say the warrior class is "broke" they're generally referring to the fact that ANY comp is better off with a DK or a rogue than a warrior in high end arena. Warriors are viable to get 2.2k, and yes there's that one guy in Europe that's 2.6k+, but at the end of the day warriors just don't compete like other classes nowadays. |

if we could self heal we will be just like paladins or DKs. i'm fine without heals. let the class that is supposed to heal do their jobs.

Compared to other classes warriors need to time everything carefully. Most others use abilities whenever and they are fine in pvp.
If you time your skills correctly you will wreck people. Edit: @ Nickyminaj, you aren't geared. |

I have a DK and this warrior. I find that despite my DK being in mostly Season 9 gear it is still a much easier class to play with in pvp. I actually have to think about how I am going to string out attacks with my warrior and anticipate counters to it. If my DK gets in trouble I can pop defensive cool downs and start deathstriking. Best I can hope for on my warrior is my shield wall macro which doesn't ever seem to be of much help. DKs don't have to sacrifice offense to stay alive, my warrior does.

In arena, yes they are.

Warriors vs other classes- hand crank can opener vs electric can opener, it still gets the job done, just one requires way less effort.

One argument you will encounter alot is, "don't compare different classes." Then you will probably hear a dismissive one-liner like, "Quit if you don't like it." or "it's possible if you just believe."
Unfortunately, it IS a comparative issue and these cliche one-liners offer no supporting points of fact. Please check the composition of the top teams in arena brackets on this website. You can CLEARLY compare the number of warriors to other classes. And no amount of anecdotal evidence, one-liners, or "BG chart topping" will change the FACTS that you find there. On a sidenote, people who abuse the phrase "dumbing down" uzally tipe lik dis |
what this guy said. There fine, they just don't have as much utility as most classes and our mobility is !@#$. do you know what a cancel bladestrom macro is? |
