Goodbye Uldaman - from BSK

Bloodshrine Knights has officially moved over to Illidan server, on Horde. My personal parting words to the first server I ever played on, when I made my warlock as a level 1 in August 2010.
To the family: We're excited for our new realm and new opportunities at Illidan. For those who have moved, we've already taken advantage of the booming server, recruiting members and pugging heroic modes. The server is truly alive and we are thankful to have a presence on such an incredible realm, with some of the top-end players in the world. We hope you join us as we create a new age for ourselves. For those that want to progress, we'll most certainly be doing that. For those that want to have fun, this is the place to do so: Before moving, we were one of the most active guilds, constantly running old raids, inviting casuals, doing Ulduar/ICC transmog/legendary runs, and kiting whale sharks. This will only continue on our new and exciting realm. See you there! To the friends: We'll miss you, keep in touch, realID is available for anyone who wants to add us. We will be running many realID events, if you have Hordies. Thanks for the support over the years, through thick and thin, we counted on you guys many times to fill that one missing spot, and to allow us not to fall behind and potentially fall apart. You helped us put ourselves together when we almost died as a guild. If you ever want to come on over or join on an already-there Horde toon, you are more than welcome. To the naysayers: You laughed, you thought you were the kings in a post-nerf world, then we came with undergeared, underplayed toons, and showed our potential and dethroned you. You thought we were dead, then we came back stronger than ever. From a 4/13(H) finish in T11, our first tier of raiding ever, to pushing heroic DS content at a rate never seen before, we've proven again and again our tenacity as a raiding guild. Old ties can't be broken so easily. If you want to find a stable, fast-paced guild that WILL accomplish what it sets out to do, no matter what the old "kings" think, you're looking at us. To the haters: Congratulations. While we may have left the server because it was "trash," servers don't become "trash" for no reason. You people are the ones ruining this server and making it to be the wasteland that it is becoming. My last words to you are to step back and take a look at yourself, and at what you represent as a whole. You want this to be a good server, then make it one. Don't hate, appreciate... Go out and do something yourselves. To the recruits: Looking forward, we are still taking exceptional players. Feel free to respond here, and I'll get back to you one way or another. BSK is a "keeper" guild; while we push progression and hope for an 8/8, we are a guild where members stay, where you are truly one of us. Couldn't be more excited to have you :) |

I'm hoping you also are all going horde on Illidan? Going to Illidan and staying ally would be worse than staying here ...

1) Well Elbareth, your guildmate Sintacks tried telling me, in Trade Chat, that I was verbally challenged and to "l2read dumbass." Just for him, I will tell you to "l2read" and to look at the very first sentence of my unedited post, where it specifically states we are going horde (not that it wasn't stupidly obvious given the server, anyway).
2) I do not dismiss criticism Hopo, I dismiss haters. There's a difference between those that criticize and those (read: 85-90% of Uldaman Alliance) that blindly hate, just because my 5 alts are better than their entire guild. We're well aware that Illidan is no cakewalk, that we can't act like the "kings" that I referred to in my "naysayers" comment on Uldaman (read: the 6/7 post-nerf "heroic" guilds that thought they were pro on Uldaman Alliance). We've already done a good job picking up recruits both on and off server there and are looking forward to raid this weekend. For those who want to raid with us, or casuals that want to support us, our doors are still open and you can inquire in this thread anytime. (I can then provide contact/realID information). 3) The alternating caps was a vestige of the first guild master; the guild name has since changed. |

Wow your a jerk. Elbareth didnt say anything to you but simply ask a question in a statement form nothing that was threatening or hostile. You can't judge a person on how someone else in their guild has treated you. That just shows how judgemental and prejudice some people can be. I do wish you good luck on your server but don't leave expecting everyone to coddle to your needs. Your one of the same guys who told most of the alliance side that Heroic Dragon Soul was "Easy" when you haven't done it. Can't judge what you haven't done yourself. If you want to succeed in this game you have to stop playing like everyone else around you doesn't matter. Only reason you can do that on servers like Illidan and Cho'gall is because there is such a large player base but eventually word will get around about your plain hard-headed arrogance.
I know i haven't been here long but i can easily say that this server is NOT "Trash" the server i was from was way more underpopulated then this and all it takes is a couple people to step up and lead a couple successful pugs and you have the entire server working together doing pugs and running everything again. I also think it has a great community i enjoy playing with most of the people on this server so far. Just because, it doesn't have everything you want in a server doesn't mean its "trash". All it takes is a couple people to chip in to help out and you have a helpful server. Generosity goes a long way and Hard-headed"ness" is recognized for a long time. It takes true players to be good at this game and still be generous considering its a computer game. Good luck on your server but try not to be so off-putting next time. |

I've never understood the point of these kinds of posts. Clearly you would have already communicated with friends and people you like on this server already, to say your goodbyes or get realids or whatever. So that makes most of your audience people who either don't know you or don't like you, and in either case they certainly don't care that you're leaving.
This was funny though, since by any possible raiding metric its not true. Good luck in moving ahead of at least a few of the 60 raiding guilds ahead of you on Illidan. |

You were an embarassment to Uldaman, which is a shame - a few idiots ruined your reputation for a lot of good people in your guild.
Good luck on Illidan, and as people above have said, the attitude is really not necessary. |

Sorry I should have clarified: I actually have been in EoA and know many of the older veterans; to this day I still respect the guild. Elbareth, Sintacks, and a few of their newer off-server recruits, however have been quite "uppity" in trade chat and elsewhere, treating my former guildmates poorly, and displaying extremely elitist attitude (read: "kings" of Uldaman Alliance), only to blow a nerve when they realized they were talking to people more progressed than they were (d'oh!). I don't appreciate congratulating a guild I was formerly in on getting a still somewhat hard-to-get title (read: Firelord) only to hear "Who the hell are you?" from some stupid off-server recruit who thinks he's now the king of Uldaman. Hence the /sarcasm given in response to his /popcorn. Your one of the same guys who told most of the alliance side that Heroic Dragon Soul was "Easy" when you haven't done it.... I appreciate the lecture and would like to point out you are judging me based on the "camp" of people I am around... good job listening to your own, earlier advice (read: above quote from you). I know i haven't been here long but i can easily say that this server is NOT "Trash".... I have been on this server much longer and I can easily tell you that you will think differently after your weekly Sinestra pug either 1) devolves into a guild run and kills her (the sad story of many a Bloodshrine pug) due to inability of the server populace as a whole, or 2) stays a full pug and kills her 2 weeks after everyone hits 90 in MOP.
Sadly, it's true that we've had our run-ins with a few incidents. However, its even more sad when I've noticed lately, its a good chunk of the people on the server ruining the server's reputation (and that of the good people in it) for us, not the reverse. Hence our decision to move. It wasn't a decision made lightly, and was made after considering the (d)evolution this server has made over the past few years.
Good luck on Uldaman. Thanks for the responses to all who are not levels 1s and/or belonging to the "naysayers" or "haters," your words, comments, and recruitment is always appreciated. And remember, the attitude reflects the server population at large - again, with many good people, but too many idiots to ruin it. |

Uppity? I'm fairly sure I have not encountered you in game and not sure where this has come from, but no matter. I have no idea who you are nor do I care, I think you really need to examine yourself when referring to the "big bad king of Uldaman" garbage you spouted about a guildmate of mine. Anyways this has been fun, enjoy your time on Illidan /popcorn <3 |

oh my, this has turned out better than I had hoped! Yes, it has turned out that way. Either way, enjoy your time on Uldaman, and realize that a good number of people I know are not very happy with your current attitude, nor that of the guildmates you transferred with. Keep in mind that BSK has always had a bad reputation on this server, so I really don't care how I act. I honestly don't know how long this mage will last before I move it to Horde realms with the rest of my many characters (probably when I can find the money). Suffice it to say, any sort of "trolling" we might have done in the past, as others have so kindly pointed out, has come to an official end on Illidan. With you however, you should be a tad bit less elitist. Good luck on Spine with your former guildmate's brilliant strategy. /popcorn |

Honestly I'm honored that I'm so important I have you arguing to me in a random thread and I've been on this server for like 3 weeks. It's funny, really, I haven't even spoken with anyone outside the guild until now but my Elitist attitude has offended you. Just one question, who did I transfer with? Good luck though for real this has been fun not many have the maturity to banter back and forth without "AMG YOU NOOB" I've taken a guild to a high pop well progressed server before (Whisperwind) and I know how hard things are when you first try to become established. Keep a stiff chin and come back to visit sometimes. much love |
