Reviving in Arena's and why it's BS

I just recently got into a battle with my DK friend against a Druid and a Paladin. You know what they did the entire battle? RAN. Like wusses. We killed the Paladin, no problem, I died, my friend and the druid fought, the druid just kept running, and running, and RUNNING. Without stopping. And eventually about 20-25 minutes in, the druid got to rez his friend. DK's can't do that. We have a battle rez, but because the cooldown is 10 minutes, we aren't allowed to use it.
Magic users and hunters are one thing, but druid that runs away? A paladin that runs? Fight us like men and quit running. I'm honestly surprised they haven't made a tiny 8 foot box as an arena for people to fight in. When you think of people dueling in an arena do think if people running away from someone else while that person keeps chase and NOTHING happens? I don't. I think of 2 people, or a group of people facing each other like men, blood and dirt on their faces, not backing down because they got a cut on their "pretty" little faces. I want to fight like a real gladiator, and I want to KILL. Not run away. I go into arenas expecting brave people ready to kill as I do. I have had Rogues run away less frequently than I see druids do. Sure they cloak sometimes, but they don't run away and cower, they stun me and then start wailing on me. I turn around and start wailing on them in turn. The point is.... I'm tired of seeing everyone run away. FIGHT ME. |

Well the whole playstyle of Resto Druid is to simply run away; you don't exactly have the healing output or defensive cooldowns to sit there and tank as much damage as a Resto Shaman or Holy Paladin, WHILE healing. Sure you can sit in Bear but you're not healing your teammates.
That being said.. I know the feeling. It's extremely stupid that if its 2v1 they mark the match as a tie if it hits 45 minutes as well. Though you should've been aware of what was going on in the match, as well as your partner, second chances after dying shouldn't really be allowed.. regardless of whether your opponents notice or not. It's simply stupid. I don't think its a fair tradeoff. The Resto Druid can run around until the end of the match, laughing at the situation, while the other team, that outplayed the other team, has to run around after him for the remainder of the game. Also, a match shouldn't last more than 20 minutes.. period. These 45 minute matches turn me off from playing healer/dps in 2v2, even though I do anyway. |

Do you also complain how those wimpy Hunters and Mages keep running away from you? Surely they should run into your melee range and auto attack you to death!

Now take the next step and stop being butthurt over revives in arenas. They're the easiest mechanic in the entirety of PvP to prevent. |
