Thank YOU! For Banning Carries
|
Thanks! Now most of the players will have a good chance on hitting 2.2k.
The problem with carries is not that they get gear that they do not deserve, its that players who are trying to get 2.2 on their own usually can't because of fighting Rank 1 Glads on their piloting accounts. IMO Ban people who also buy carries |

I never understood why people wouldn't just make a team and grind it out.
ooo yeah..... They suck, lol =P |
Yes, via something not in-game, or if you want to say that buying a pet/mount from someone who bought an item from the cash shop counts. |
I see the comparison quite easily, but in the situation of paying RL money for a carry, the person doing the carry can spend the money on anything he/she pleases. In the situation of a pet/mount, neither party gets money to spend how ever they please. The situation is similar, but very different. Both are just silly, basically buying gold for 10/25 dollars in the pet/mount and paying RL money for gear that is going to be replaced and an achievement lol, but one situation I look down upon a bit more. Paying gold for a carry is not as sad as paying RL money. |

i think he was trying to say you can sell your gold to the gold selling companies, so selling a carry for gold still = real money
|
Which takes further connection with a 3rd party site. This leads the risk of being banned. I know two people who have been banned for gold selling to 3rd party sites so far. If it were safe, I would be selling off my 400k that net gains 20-30k a day if I do an hour of AH playing. |

not a big deal. with all the gold they slod they can buy a new account. derp |
Well, if we go by that standard anything can equal RL money as long as it has any type of market and some way to secretly sell it. Just because there is a market that is undetectable, for now, does not mean it has a direct comparison to RL money. The risk involved is always there, and can lead to a cut off at anytime, via a ban. If done by paypal, the gold is taken away when you are banned, the company can take the payment back. This means, your money, gold, and account is now gone. Once again, just because a product has a market of some kind, it does not directly relate to money, something that can be traded for any product or service and not just a certain product or service. As for the original post that started this silly argument, notice the usage of LQL over LOL. This would mean that I /top hat /monocle /scoff at anyone who pays direct RL money for a carry in WoW. I could go over how much easier it is to make gold over RL money, but that is obvious. Gold is a much easier resource to come about, which I stated in my earlier post about the 20-30k net gain over an hour of work and is not as sad as paying direct RL money for a carry. |
not a big deal. with all the gold they slod they can buy a new account. Which would take more time investment to start up their market again. While AH playing is easy, it does not just start from a fresh level one account. |
