@tanks and their egos

Also, My ego isn't so big, it's just that DPSer's egos are so small. And really, who can blame them for that. |
inb4thatswhatshesaid. 10/10 for you. its like you are trolling me, and making me smile at the same time. what a cute little gnome :] /lick BUT seriously. you;d think with all the LFG !@#$ they added in this game, tanks would learn they are replaceable (by 3 other classes) |

BUT seriously. you;d think with all the LFG !@#$ they added in this game, tanks would learn they are replaceable (by 3 other classes) And the tank that replaces them would still be better than the three DPSers combined. Remove a tank, and you have to wait for a new tank. Remove a healer, you might even have to wait for a new healer. Remove a DPSer, meh, let's keep going, one will drop in eventually, maybe, and if not, less competition for the orb. |

We tend to preceptive what we're doing as more difficult because fewer of us queue in LFD.
But really, the role isn't harder in itself. It's the social aspect, the default leader part, that scares people off imho. |

It's because I'm awesome. /flex
But on a more serious note, I'm assuming you've just had some tank who acted like they were the most amazing thing ever, so you decided to come here to tell us? What makes you think we haven't had more than our share of DPSers that act that way? ----- Attack tables, CTC, diminishing returns and you! http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2489160859 |

What ego?

What's an ego?
But on a less serious note, what Waniou said. I've been 9th on DPS in LFR on the Madness encounter before. There is no excuse for that. DPS are expendable, redundant drool monkeys who can't even follow basic tasks. That's why every tank has an interrupt now (which is nice don't get me wrong) but it's out of necessity. If you want to create a boss that must be interrupted you have to give a competent role the ability to do so. Not to mention the boo hoo fest you get if you EVER ask for CC anymore. |

It's a highly overrated brand of frozen waffles. Obviously tanks get bigger ones, cause of all the blood loss. Oops, I quoted the wrong person =( |

I get my butt kicked on a basis and this the kind of appreciation I get!?

It hasn't been said yet, but the tanks you're wanting to get this message to are not the tanks in this forum. Most (and I do mean most) of the tanks in here are good people and you'd be ecstatic to have them as a tank in your group.

Big ego? I'm a tauren, everything about me is bigger.
If you hate tank egos so much roll one, get hit in the face by as many things as possible as a job, and see if you maintain an unassuming demeanor. |

I've seen my share of meter-whoring DPS and healers, too.
Tank ego is not justifiable and it makes me laugh to see so many entitled idiots in this thread who think it is, but to imply that it's only tanks (or that tank ego is so much bigger than DPS/healers) is laughable. CONFIDENCE=/=EGO |
