Self buff fix needed!
|
Ok, so before every RBG or arena, I have to cast:
1) Unending breath - RBGs do have water, and unending breath with glyph gives +20% swim speed. NO, it is not a magic effect, thus it does not give dispel protection as before. 2) Demon / fel armor 3) soul link 4) health stones.... VERY annoying especially in 2v2, when I have to manually trade the HS. And in some cases, when the other players forget to click on the soul portal to create HS. 5) buff partner with unending breath 6) Cast dark intent. I have a one button macro for casting everything, but even then it is time consuming. And in RBG's after a death, when I want to rush in to the battle, I have to wait and cast these buffs! GRRRR! Suggestions : 1) Make the fel/demon armor stay through death (Like Paladin Aura or Hunter aspect) 2) Same for soul link. Make us cast soul link when we change pets, not every time we die or the pet dies. 3) Make unending breath raid wide. 4) GIVE US THE ABILITY TO CHANEL AND CREATE SOUL PORTAL FOR HEALTH STONES BY OUR SELVES, without the need for any one else to click or channel. 5) Dark intent : make it go default to the person or pet on whom it was cast the last time with the caveat, that the person is out of range, then make us target it. |

Soulburn a pet, put 3 buffs on then click a well. Takes all of 10 seconds. Chill.
There is no need for unending breath. At all. |

I hate it when PVE scripted fight heros' from St. Mary's special school come post about PVP stuff.
Which moron soul burns a pet and uses up a shard prior to an arena? And if you dont appreciate unending breath, go roll a mage. Now go play with your little sister, this thread is for the big boys. |

First I really like the OP. You state your complaint and your solution to each complaint very clearly. I am not much of a PVPer but all of your suggestions provide solutions for PVEers' frustrations as well.
I absolutely hate making soulwells and summoning stones. It is always, "click" "click please" "CLICK THE DAMN PORTAL!!" However, I do not see us ever being able to make them without the help of party members, maybe soulwells but definitely not summoning stones. Although, I think I would weep tears of joy if we could in MoP. Also, I never realized how useful underwater breathing with the glyph was in BGs/RBGs, thanks for the tip! Not making it a raid wide buff just seems mean now that I think about it. |

I would prefer to see Soul Link become something like a passive buff that is always active as long as you have trained the spell and have a minion out. Think back to Master Demonologist or Demonic Knowledge.

Make a macro for these two spells. /cast Ritual of Souls /s CLICK IT If people fail to listen, fill up their chat box. Works in random bg's for me at least (by far the worst place for people to click stuff like this) I hate it when PVE scripted fight heros' from St. Mary's special school come post about PVP stuff. ...I hate stupid people. Soulburn-Pet macro - 1.5 seconds (gcd with no haste) Armor Buff - 1.5 seconds (gcd with no haste) Soul Link - 1.5 seconds (gcd with no haste) Dark Intent - 1.5 seconds (gcd with no haste) Ritual of Souls 6 seconds. 9 seconds if you want to be anal and throw in shadow ward and portal. DK > Unending Breath. |

Unending Breath glyphs buffs swim speed?
I've been living wrong. |

First of all, they give you MORE than enough time to do all this, and more.
There's honestly no reason to cast this.... Twin peaks has water, yes. But you can jump over it if you're mounted easily. ( the river)
You suggest making them stay through death like pally auras and aspects... though they're not the same at all. Pallies die, they have to might+seal. Mages die they have to int + pick their armor. etc. It's not a big deal, lol.
Same as your armor, this is your "might" per say.
I'll agree with this one, it's pretty annoying in 2s having to create and trade, but it's still. not a big deal lol. They could just make it to where you need one other person to channel it, that wouldn't be too bad imo.
Again, not needed. As you stated it's not magic so it can't be dispelled. Even if you do feel the need to do it, you have MORE than enough time in an arena match.
It's becoming a raid-wide buff for spellpower in MoP, I guess picking a good target to buff with this was just too hard for locks like yourself. ]: |

hate it when PVE scripted fight heros' from St. Mary's special school come post about PVP stuff. Considering I'm 1/8 normal DS and have higher arena ratings than you... I also don't have a little sister :(
The swim speed increase is quite... unnessecary? I don't know, I've always found that the only time my team crosses water is when we have path of frost on. Certainly not worth the effort to click it on everyone... |

The thing I agree most strongly about is trading the health stones in arena. Jeez that's annoying.
The rest is kind of meh. Shadow Priests have five self buffs when they rez, I think? That's much worse. The unending breath thing is really situational. Not everyone is going to need it. It would be nice to have an effect like DKs do, where everyone in a N-yard radius gets the buff. But if any changes are made to it, I would ask for faster swim speed over raid-wide applicability. There's no reason the buff couldn't be 50%. I'd rather they focus on the pet loss, soulshard loss, & exit vehicle camera problems... these in the OP are really minor. |

Is this a joke? Seriously. Of all the things you could QQ about it's buffing yourself? lawwwl

I hate it when PVE scripted fight heros' from St. Mary's special school come post about PVP stuff. Soul Burning a pet while in the starting zone will give you back a Soul Shard. Unending Breath is an awful spell, casting it is a waste of a global. There's absolutely no need to use it - and there's definitely no need to use it on another person. Also, there's a starting zone. You have more than enough time to do all the necessary buffs. To end, you're very condescending towards people that are much more informed than yourself. |

I am not a serious player, and there are more casual players in the game than hard core gamers.
1) Unending breath is important to me, and to several people. You dont like it, you dont have to buff it. And yes it is important in... AB, Twin peaks, EOTS, SOTA, Isle of Gilneas, basically where ever you have to swim. It is critically important, indispensable in AB and twin peaks. If you really think 20% swim speed increase does not matter, then I have nothing to say to you. 2) I dont know when they fixed it, but if I recall, you used up a soul shard when you soul burn summoned a pet. I never tried it after that, because I did not want to risk going in with just 2 shards. Anyway, my post said nothing about the time needed to summon the pet. Instead I mentioned about the need to click "soul link". 3) Health stones are a major issue, I think there is common consensus about it. Yes, I dont like that we have to manually buff / trade HS. Its a PITA. I have a one button macro for doing all the buffs as above, but it is time consuming. I have timed it, and my best time in a 2v2 scenario is, I finish all the buffs with 29 seconds to spare. Its just annoying to do all this, when on my hunter, I whistle summon my pet and cast aspect of the hawk and just chill till its time to camo and go in. |
