So, at E3 they announced a new smash bros will be released for the WiiU and the 3DS.

That can only mean one thing. A million images of fake character sheets with characters beyond any recognition.

So what would YOU like to see in it? I'd like the return of the subspace emissary, it gave us a little reason to play it alone, however i do think it can be improved, though i know the game is designed around the multiplayer. Also i dont like all the clone smashes. (Yes star fox characters im looking at YOU)

As for characters, there are alotta assist trophies that could have been characters. Waluigi would have been pretty cool. Shadow the hedgehog is badass.

ADD MORE KONGS! DK and diddy are cool, but the other ones from DK64 were badass! Lanky kong scared me !@#$less when i was little...that scary orangutang walking with its hands...blowing up like a balloon /shudder. Chunky was also awesome. Tiny was meh. And if you have bowser, why not King K. Rool!

I dunno if some of these characters are copyright by rare. (if u dont know the whole Rare thing partnering with microsoft...) but the franchise is Nintendo, which is why donkey kong country is on the wii virtual console, why DK64 isnt idk.

But if i wanted one character it would be...young link. But no, not a Link or toon Link clone, keep them, but heres what i was thinking. young link is a weaker version of toon link, a REALLY weaker version, but, hes like the pokemon trainer.

He should be able to press down B and turn into the masks from Majoras mask, switch between Goron, Zora, and Deku. Id love if there was also Garo.

For his smash? Ready for this?

Okay, first and foremost I want Mewtwo back... he never should have left.

Second: Ganondorf needs to use his sword, or leave.

As far as characters go, if either Lyn or Geno make it in, I'll be as happy as I could be. Ridley, King K. Rool, Ahsley, Daisy, and Ghirahim are others I would like to see. Speaking of Ghirahim, I wonder if Nintendo is going to keep the Twilight Princess models or switch over to Skyward Sword models.

As for third party characters, Masahiro Sakurai has specifically mentioned the possibility of adding Capcom characters, and the obvious choice there is Mega Man, who I think would be a great addition. He fits in well with the rest of Nintendo's cast, and I think Mega Man fans are about ready to burn down Capcom HQ if they don't see him in something soon.

I'd like to see Simon Belmont from Castlevania or Rick Taylor from Splatterhouse.

If by models you mean graphic style, on the E3 wiiu demo thing they showed a zelda demo thing with pretty amazing graphics, but remember wind waker? who knows if thats how itl turn out.


And Ridley being a dragon thing wuldnt work too well =p

people would complain that rainbow dash is overpowered. though i would buy the game and console in ten seconds flat just to play as rainbow dash. sonic beware!

Have not heard anything on the new nintendo systemsm, is wiiU gunna be a full console or a portable system? Huge smash fan since the 64, but I could never play it on a small screen :(

If they added Knuckles the Echidna from the Sonic Franchise i would have a nerdgasm and play him exclusively. Or Dr Mario back. He was my favorite guy on Melee :(

Two words...Mega Man.

Only problem is the situation with capcom. I will be happy for the first time in a long time if the new SSB had mega man in it....whichever version it may be...even the 8-bit ones would suffice...just one ******* version of mega man...

Edit: it can acutually have a fun factor in it...if mega man gets the kill an orb drops and if collected allows mega man to use that character's final smash if he gets the smash ball. The orb can be destroyed by opponents so it wouldnt be OP.

Well go look it up!

But heres the rundown. its a home console, nintendo's current portable would be the 3DS. However, the console specializes in the controller. Its going to be compatible with wii games and controlls, but the controller for this system features a touchscreen in the middle. They demonstarted how some games could use the screen. It showed a zelda demo where you could choose Link's weapons. Or it could be used like OOT3D, the bottom screen could show the map and other features. Other games you might be able to switch to the controller, like the mario game they showed.

For the next smash bros, i guess they might throw the player portraits and dmg %s on the screen? Who knows.

The WiiU is also gonig to try to appear to hardcore gamers again with better 3rd party support. Nintendo admitted part of the reason the wii was viewed as childish is because the graphic limitations, with that in mind, the new systems graphcis are about twice as good as the 360.

I miss Mewtwo he was my favorite. Maybe Shadow the hedgehog. Sure he might play as sonic but maybe he could be like Wolf in the 3rd game. Similar fighting just more combat oriented rather then speed. Dr Mario only because I loved fighting to his theme music. Tiny Kong from Donkey Kong 64 sounds fun. Actually all the kongs do from that game. Links wolf form seems like a new idea. Or Birdo.

I'd like Sora and Master Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts to make an appearence. As 3rd party characters, obviously. Square Enix seems to be getting slightly friendly with Nintendo in relation to that series.


Link/Zelda/Ganondorf is of course a staple, but perhaps this time replace Ganondorf with Demise, or even add him in if many more character slots are available with the new system.

Sonic should return, Mega Man would be nice as another 3rd party one.

I'd also find it interesting if they allowed us to choose Pokemon Trainer and pick three from a wider selection of Pokemon to use. Perhaps instead of having some Pokemon as their own characters, add them to a sub-selection screen of the Pokemon Trainer.
