Like I've been saying for years, an easy fix to that crap would be to make gy immune till you leave them.

so me and my friends wait 50 yards from the gy (around the hut) and wait for you to jump down and then kill you. there is no effective way to make gy camping done without banning people which would be a horrible idea on blizzards part. they can make it harder and more boring. but not impossible. |

The reason you've been saying it for years is because it's a dumb idea and professional game designers would never be that dumb to implement an idea like that. We grave camp all the time. If they did implement this it would become a reverse grave camp. We would cap a flag on you. And then bring your flag to our grave yard. With our characters immune to attack till a time of our choosing we'd be free to keep our FC alive indefinitely even with debuffs. No the only way for you to fix your problems is for you and the people you play with to become better players. |

I think Twin Peaks fixed the two problems WSG has:
1. The graveyards are mostly inaccessable, and it's not productive to camp because there are multiple spawn points. 2. Turtles are less effective. In WSG, you have the entryway to the roof where you can easily sit your entire team, and spam AoE. A good and coordinated team can prevent anyone from getting to the FC and his 10 stacks in WSG. This doesn't make WSG broken, but imo it makes TP better. |

Yes there is a way to help reduce GY Camping, give the players more than ONE WAY OUT OF THE GRAVEYARD! It is so simple it is dumb! Unbelievable to redesign it this way :(
A massive EFC Turtle at the base is WAY more fun than a GYC, anytime, any day, anywhere. At least you are battling towards a goal instead of "griefing", "causing folks to leave the BG", "rez-die-rez-die nonsense". Talk about demoralizing, I usually log out of the entire game at this point. I am talking from both sides of the fence too, it is equally as "dumb" to be on the camping team as well, talk about a HUGE waste of time... I don't like to kick a man when he is down, can't believe Blizz supports this. Whomever at Blizz couldn't figure that one out needs to only design PvE stuff. |

I heard that you can run up the ramp in ghost form and rez above the gy. I haven't tried this out yet does anyone know if this works?

Unbelievable to redesign it this way :( My thoughts exactly, except the part about logging out if I get camped. Back in the days there was always a way to escape the camping and the weaker team was given a chance to recover - I have won games like that, the other team gets greedy with the killing blows and ends up being outsmarted, now it is virtually impossible to do so especially if the opposite team has a mage, let alone 4 as I had one this Sunday. Yeah, try to "push back" a team that has 4 mages who know what they are doing and tell us how far you go, Xista. Or we could just pull one away from the healers and beat the crap outta them and it felt good. Now we can't do that either. If the healers running back in the flag room was the issue for this change, the stacks that increase the damage taken from the FC solves it easily. If Blizzard can make the players rezing at the GYs in Wintegrasp immune while they are on the little spawn hill, they can do the same in GYC - if the flag gets carried to that area, it would be dropped and reset in the flag room. |

Listen...I understand venting - I do it often enough myself. But you need to understand something.
Blizzard doesn't care. They're not going to "fix" it...supposedly making this change a while back "FIXED IT". So...I would recommend sucking it up, and, you know...taking it like the rest of us. It won't change, because no matter how much we complain they don't care. At best, someone will say (again) to post our complaints on the "Suggestion Forums". My typical response to that is: HAHAHAHAHA. But if you wanna try it, go for it. Maybe....maybe (don't hold your breath) they'll "take it under consideration" if enough people complain. |

You either get camped, or do the camping.
That's just the way it is in BG. One side will always be dominant, so if they didn't camp, they'd flag earlier and the game would be over earlier. |

Well that's another issue that I thought they got rid off - well geared teams against not so well, like fresh 85s, this was a problem since TBC, and was one of the reasons people asked for rated BGs - unfortunately it is still in the game, for reasons unknown. If Blizzard can't find a way to determine how well a player performs during a BG, the score of the gear that a player owns is a very good measure. It is efficiently used by the game when it comes to PvE, so why can't be done the same for PvP? Before the merge of all battlegroups, that would have created longer queue times, but right now the queues are almost instant. Even in the lower brackets where the number of the people is far less than those that do end game PvP and is dispersed among a greater number of brackets, the queue times are still less than 5 minutes. |

WSG is fine. Enjoyed spamming it this weekend. Had one time our group was GYC and i /afk. Other time I was in the group doing the GYC. It was fun. I still really hate the 3 or 4 healers vs your team with 1 or 0 a lot more than GYC though, but that's why it's called random I guesss.
