Interest check: Battle for Halaa

It has come to my attention that there is a certain Kurenai reputation bar that has yet to be filled to exalted, and warbeads.....Reeeeally aren't too fun to grind out. So, I propose a compromise to ease the pain!
I kill a particular Hordie ten times, and said Hordie kills me ten times. We both walk away with reputation for the Kurenai and Mag'har respectively. A good deal, yes? No? Maybe so? Edit: Scratch my earlier idea, who's up for coordinating a massive brawl in Halaa? Kills and fun times for everyone! |

It's win trading. :/ Organise a group pvp thing instead.

Is this not technically against the TOS?
|
It's a gray area actually. Best way to do this is to just call for an all out spree. PvPers will jump at it - mount collectors will jump at it - bored people will jump at it... |

I would certainly be happy to participate in a halaa pvp event if a date and time were given. :3

I have two accounts, and play a Horde and Alliance character simultaneously to 'win-trade' when the situation calls for it.
It's not against the ToS if I'm beating myself off. |

The hardest part is proving how or if it adversely affects the game, or if it's even being done. Losing in world PvP isn't against the Terms of Use Agreement, and neither is winning. What more, there's no ranking ladder for Halaa. When in doubt, open a ticket and ask. But I'm pretty certain that you won't be punished for trying to collect outdated PvP rewards which rely on participation that doesn't currently exist.
Whether or not this is 'technically' against the rules is for Blizzard to determine. Largely because only the company knows what would fall under this category: "(iii) Anything that Blizzard considers contrary to the "essence" of the Game." And because it does not cleanly fall under any other area. http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/wow_tou.html So unless it comes from an official Blizzard representative, it's best not to speculate wildly. |

Now... if we can remember Tol barad when the entire server openly switched off they ended up fixing it. Because they couldnt prevent it... something small and practically modern-day useless like Halaa I would feel is not something that they care enough to ban someone for.
|
Pretty much this. If you're uncertain and want to play it safe, open a ticket. But I'd be entirely shocked if anyone got in trouble for doing this. Especially considering folks have been doing it without infraction since it was still a new world PvP zone in TBC. |

Hmmm, I like this idea. If it happens, count me in

An analogy for my attitude toward this thread:

To the front page with you!
If we're going to have a nostalgia day filled with fun, quests, and (s)laughter, we must have more interest! |
|
How's next Tuesday at 7pm server time? Or we could try this Saturday. Need a set date, time and number of people attending on each side, assuming everyone's going to be 85.
