2v2 Suggestion: 2v1 Time Limit

When arena matches come down to 2 players beating on 1 player in 2v2 arenas a timer really needs to start ticking down that will give the victory to the 2 players in, say, 30 minutes or so if the 1 player cannot either revive his partner (which I found out was possible tonight) or kill at least 1 player from the enemy team. Allowing 1 player to go on forever when he has absolutely no chance of winning when the enemy team continues to fight against him is just ridiculous. Typically the 2 players will eventually win, but often only by sheer luck.
Tonight my arena partner and I (prot warrior/blood death knight) fought against a rogue/paladin team, and after some serious determination we took the rogue down. For at least 40 minutes after we beat on the paladin as he danced around the arena healing himself to full, shielding anytime we burned our cool downs and stuns to try to finish him off, and doing next to no damage to us. We did eventually lose because we were unaware you could revive players during arenas and had for a time stopped attacking to decide what we were going to do next. By the time we realized what he was doing it was too late to stop him from reviving his partner. The ability to revive players in arenas is not an issue at all. That was just a hard lesson learned. |

Had the same issue with a priest healer on the other side. 40 minutes is not worth a few arena points unless your above 2k. Otherwise just leave and deal with it. If you can't take them down quickly as a double dps combo, then it's fail.

One team making progress against the other by killing one of the players shouldn't have to take the loss. Healers are designed to heal tanks through raid damage so it makes sense that it's often difficult to kill them in 2s. It doesn't make sense to nerf healers for arenas, but it does make sense to make them work harder to advance if their teammate falls in battle.

I really hope you're trolling, if not the paladin clearly out played you every step of the way. l2p issue if I've ever seen one. |

I don't understand why people roll healer/dps or double prot.

I kited (and on several occasions nearly landed a kill) a Sub Rogue and Holy Paladin as Assassination for the time limit after they killed my partner.
Arenas are a Death Match; if you can't kill the players in the allotted time then neither you, or the other team wins, as it should be. |
