LFR enters Raid without confirming?

This is a repost from the CS forums as I didn't know where to post it.
Hello all. I have a problem. Well, not really a problem, more an observation and a question. I entered a queue for LFR yesterday. The queue thingy said average wait time would be 15 mins. I thought I may as well go to the toilet. Problem is, when I got back to the PC (around 3 mins later) my queue had popped and I was dead in front of Morchoks corpse. So my question is, why does LFR seem to enter me into the Raid even if I dont click Enter Raid on the pop-up? Random dungeons dont do it. So just in case I was stoned, idiotic or just unobservant, I entered another queue and purposely didnt click anything when it popped. Still entered me into the Raid despite being "AFK". I notice a few of the people in LFR that are AFK from the start of the raid, maybe this is why? A character named Ainsley (on the CS forums) informed me that it always enters you into the LFR Raid as long as you do not explicitly (maybe wrong word?) click the Decline button. And then told me to post here. Thanks Ainsley :) Am I the only one that thinks this should be brought into line with the way the Dungeon queues work? As in, if you don't click Accept you don't get in? |

It's been doing this since 4.3 launch, not exactly new. I agree that it's annoying when people enter the raid AFK, but at the same time it's saved my !@# from missing a 25-minute DPS queue because I was gone for a minute longer than I expected.

Fair enough. I can't say I like it, but at least I understand it better now.

I actually do approve of this feature even though it means sometimes you have to boot afk's at the first boss. Most dps come back after they've bio'd.

I actually like keeping AFKs in the instance, assuming they don't roll on loot. Less competition. |

That's what ended up happening. Even though it wasn't me that lost out, I still thought it was an issue for the other 24 guys/girls. |
