I've tried installing WoW on my friend's mac for the 3rd time and this message keeps popping up around 2%, never gets any farther The installer was unable to read the file "World of Warcraft/Data/enUS/Interface/Cinematics/WOW_Intro_800.avi". This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at /Volumes/The Burning Crusade 4.0.0/ --for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the installer. (The error code was 105.) If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (ReadJob::Execute)
any help please? Thank you :) |

Are you installing from the web or from a disk ?
One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a mac running snow leopard or lion you need to download the installer as the vanilla wow disks won't run on those machines. I for one would just download it to save space and time. The installers take forever. |

What Korbendallas stated is correct. If you're havign issues with disks, or other media, try the digital downloader. This will help determine if it's an issue with media, or another issue.
