Kaels' Mac'n'cheese (Healer OT)
I've only seen the Beth shield drop once, and my guild never had one drop, on reg or heroic. Not a single one. But that's part of 10m raiding, though, I guess. On a bit of a peeved note... we're the only healer that doesn't have the option to use a staff, and our off-hand items have painfully low droprates. :( |

I remember some talk back when the satchels were first proposed, that DPS will never, Ever, get them.....and so many tanks/healers tried to explain to crying DPS that it was SUPPOSED to be like that, and if they wanted one, they could play a tank or healer. My first post on this subject was something along the lines of "Mouth breathing DPS QQing about not getting everything handed to them. Whats next? DPS QQing about not being allowed to have a bot do their rotation for them?" I think I got about 10 +1's for it, hehe. |

The DPS QQ is, like, the reason they're BoA.

Exactly. I use shift+Right click(with auto loot on, that makes it normal looting) to open it and check whats inside the bag. Gold I take on w/e the toon is that got said satchel, pets I check if said toon has it, and if not, then I send it, and what is left inside(unless there is a useful potion or mount....which is IMPOSSIBLE!) to my main for AH. |
It typically means that things have gotten a bit, well, boring recently. It can be a symptom of feeling like one is stuck in a rut. You see, way back when, all the stories were new and fresh, opinions could be startling and unexpected, she couldn't predict what the next words out of your mouth would be. Now, all of the stories have been told or retold, she knows perfectly well what your opinion will be on a given topic, she finishes your sentences. There are two ways you can approach this: 1) Make her feel comfortable about being comfortable, give her reasons to appreciate the predictability, express how much you enjoy knowing another person that well. 2) Go and do something off the cuff. Take a trip to Vegas, learn how to cook a souffle, rent a movie that you would never imagine seeing, offer to take her mom shopping. Alternatively, maybe she just wants you to switch from Vent to Mumble? |

So... my druid is about to hit 85. I'm just a couple bars short. I stopped paying attention to my resto spec shortly after getting Lifebloom... just wasn't enjoying it. Is it worth giving another shot now at 85 or should I just turn that 2nd spec into a boomchicken?

If you find druid healing unenjoyable, you will probably find that a boomchicken is 1000x even more unenjoyable. Boomchicken bores me to hell, and this is coming from a person who raids on a BM hunter. I really dislike the way they implemented the Eclipse bar, as it just makes the whole rotation feel forced and mechanical. Instead of choosing spells based on the mechanics of the fight, you are choosing spells based on where on the Eclipse bar you are.
Well, that is a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. Edit: Shrooms are one of the world's most annoying mechanics, as they are either a pain in the !@# to set up while moving, or else the tank absolutely refuses to keep the mobs still long enough to place not 1, not 2, but 3 of the damn things in a location where they will be effective. I am not really thrilled about getting them as an AoE healing spell, as it is hard enough to get the DPS to stand in Efflo. I can only imagine they will scatter like scared rats when they see giant mushrooms sprouting around their feet. |

Ouch. Maybe I'll just make a 2nd feral spec... will have to do that in MoP anyway.

what's the main spec? Bear? It can be a real drag to have to choose between tank and healer all the time, but druids spec'd for bear can be sort of viable as cats when they don't want to have so much pressure riding on them. Although you share gear between Balance/Resto and between Cat/Bear, you still have different secondary state requirements so you can can share SOME gear but still have to keep two seperate sets. Working around hit caps and haste and dodge can a real pain for Balance/Resto and Cat/Bear dual specs. for that reason i have two druids: a resto/Cat and Balance/Bear. although i can't share gear between each pair of specs it's really easy for me to keep track of vary stat caps and stacking goals. |

Hungry now. :< Me too... On the druid note; I like tanking on my druid. Healing on her is different though. I do good in LFR, but throw me in a 5 man and all I do is panic since I've been playing my resto shaman forever and only started to play my druid in the past 6 months. I can't seem to get over reactive vs. proactive healing, even though I know the damage is coming. If you threw me in a regular raid, I'd probably make a fool of myself. But that's just me. While I was working on my healing set, I went into lfr as kitty in mostly bear spec and gear. Most people wont notice your dps. =P |
