Remember when someone repeatedly harassed people they would get banned? What happened to that. Seems like every time i report someone for harassment,spamming,racism, and inappropriate speech nothing happens.
Reporting does nothing. You see thess people in trade and randoms day after day still playing and still doing the same things, because Blizzard does nothing(at least not enough imo) about them. Just had someone in lfr tell me[Removed](not those words), sure i put in a ticket, but i just get the feeling that nothing will be done. I love you Blizzard, but you have gone soft, your hammer is weak. Ironically this post will probably get me banned, because criticism is a no no around the forums. |

Remember when someone repeatedly harassed people they would get banned? Really? Because I find racism towards Jews intolerable. I report it and I still see them online and doing it day after day (I see people referring posts in Trade Chat to some1 I have on my ignore/report list.) |

You could put them on ignore so you won't be grouped with them again. But besides that and reporting, I would just merely ignore it as they have to be pretty young to use that as a response. Kids will be kids.

I'm fully aware, a lot of parents use this game as a form of "baby sitter" so they can relax and watch TV or whatever these parents might do to unwind from work. I think the kids playing just think it's funny to make very old and overused mom jokes like that. I guess they think it'll get other people to like them. |
From where I grew up, saying stuff like that equated to the phrase: " 'dem is fightin' words, son!' " and a swift uppercut to the jaw. I am more mature than that now, however, it pains me to see some of the kids these days... Cussing, smoking, drinking, DRIVING... Parents these days are so out of control with their kids I am surprised they aren't locked up and their child put in foster care or jail themselves. Yes, I have genuinely seen a 7 year old cussing, smoking and drinking at 2 a.m on a Monday, a school day. I have also seen a 9 year old driving his parents car around the park. I see even more kids these days smoking than drinking, but I still see some that do both, and almost all of them know every single 'yo momma' 'joke' and cuss word combination in the dictionary. It is truly freaking sad. I am GLAD I wasn't raised THAT badly. I am glad as a child I got manhandled by my father for everything I did wrong. Now that I think about it, if it weren't for him, I could possibly be like all those kids out there I am talking about. So I am going to thank him (once I go to leave the house and live life on my own, that is. Wouldn't want to waste the moment on anything else.) |

Really really. Blizz does not ban on 1 offense. AFAIR...they never have. |

It's the internet, I personally don't think these kids would say this in real life but in WoW it's kind of anonymous so they don't give it a second thought. Try to not let it get to you and just take it with a grain of salt. |

I haven't seen the acronym before, but based on context and similarity to AFAIK, I'm guessing "As Far As I Remember". |

To make somebody shutup if they are arguing with me I agree with them 100%. They eventually leave me alone when they realize I seriously don't care what they have to say about me and I finally get that peace and quiet I was hoping for. |

Kids will be kids. Want to know the truly sad part? More often that not it probably ISN'T kids saying these things. Considering the average age of gamers these days, odds are they're (very immature) adults. |
I have played for who knows how long and never had someone tell me that out of the blue, my feeling is that you feed the general chat trolls. Ticketing to Blizzard on these things feels to me like you are" saying your in big trouble now and running to mummy" They do have an ignore feature and you can censor language, that solves your problem and anyone else has the same features available. That does not mean that Blizzard should not do something but at the same token you do have the empowerment to do something about it yourself. So to round it off, do not respond to said people, report, ignore and always have your language censor on (if you are sensitive) |
