Seriously, Blizz, you caan clearly see that after 4.3 Arms Warriors somehow have moved up to the #1 DPS spot, and Fury has dropped from our usual, comfortable middle-of-the-pack spot to 4th from the bottom. I understood the Deep Wounds bug fix, but the other nerf was totally unecessary. And Arms has been the PvP Spec for quite a while, and suddenly its the go-to PvE DPS spec? Really? Please give Fury some love (and nerf Arms while you're at it)!!! EDIT: Why did this get moved from General? I was fishing for Blue's to notice it, which is why I put it there. Ugh... |

Moonkins say hello from the middle to bottom of most meters.

Moonkins are right in the middle of that data set. I'd be happy if Fury was right there with you... |

Hmm, looking at that chart makes me want to respec my mage and this toon.
Why is frost mage so low on the dps chart??? Pretty insane, no? Maybe blizzard show look into that. |

How is Demo above destro???? I thought destro was the dps monster of the warlock specs...

Hmm, looking at that chart makes me want to respec my mage and this toon. My guess on Frost is very few people run DS10 Normal as Frost, and the few that did played badly. And there's nothing wrong with Leveling as Beast Mastery, and honestly there's nothing wrong with playing what ever spec you want as long as you play it well. My only issue is that from Patch 3.2, when I started playing, until Patch 4.3 Fury Warriors were well seated in the middle of the pack of DPS. We weren't the top melee DPS'er, and we certainly weren't the bottom one. We put out good numbers. Now, though, we've plummeted, and it is only because we were double nerfed in 4.3. One nerf, a bug fix, I understand, but then that made the second one unecessary. At the least I'd like to see it reversed. And how did Arms get so powerful? To those that would say "Respec to Arms", I don't want to play Arms. As I just told this Hunter, there's nothing wrong in my eyes of playing the spec you like as long as you play it well, but my drastic drop in DPS rankings isn't due to gear or skill, but purely a design choice on Blizzard's part. A bad choice in my opinion, and I'm asking for them to fix it. |

I know! I have 4 buddies that love their Locks, and all but one switched to Affliction when it peaked, but now they're all looking to go Demonology now. Supposedly there's some pattern of "pet swapping" that can get your DPS way up there. I've never run one myself, but three of them were talking about that in Vent last night. |

Now I gotta dust off my demo spec *grumblegrumblegrumble* I'm just trying to be the best dps I can be. I understand your annoyance, OP...DPSers get a bad rap as it is... |

Self serviing Bump, as this topic is important to me.

Well, from the looks of that chart I'm glad I spec'ed Fire. :0)
And, yes, OP, I agree that Fury got a bad deal in 4.3. They should at least reverse the Nerf to you guys. |

It could also be a fight mechanic issue. The way the fights break up with movement and what not favors one Class' CD over another. I don't think it is just a straight DPS issue. There are a lot of other factors outside of specific character mechanics at play. Not saying the Nerf does not affect it at all, but may not be sole reason.

Yes, Fury and Arms have different moves, but we're both melee DPS. We get behind the boss and beat on it with metal objects. We both have some good mobility (charge/intercept), and we both would need to run out of the same AoE or boss moves. In the end this really does come down to the bad nerf in 4.3, at least IMHO. |

Hmm, looking at that chart makes me want to respec my mage and this toon. Sample size for frost Mage is 35 samples vs. 900 or more for the others. So, yes you are correct there. I would not take this as gospel though. I tend to top the DPS in my groups as a Frost DK and we are supposed to be middle of the road. Granted, I am in LFR, which is a hodge podge of craptastic delight, but inspecting others does show some folks better geared than I am. I am not even that good and I still try to do as well as I can in LFR. So, I assume some of them are as well. And I still end up either 1,2, or 3. So, I think play style and knowing your character still has a lot to do with it. Again, assuming you are not out there in "world, realm, etc first" groups. |

I have never played a warrior, so I would have no room to do so if I wanted to. Just wondering if other things may be at play also. Have you noticed your personal numbers going down? Maybe they will fix it. From the looks of it, I need to try Unholy on this one. And I never even thought to try Survival on my hunter. I thought it was a PvP spec. Not based on anything other than the title "Survival" would imply it. |

And I never even thought to try Survival on my hunter. I thought it was a PvP spec. Not based on anything other than the title "Survival" would imply it. Hunters seem to be one of those specs that fluctuate a lot as to which one is tops. Marksmanship seems to have taken a nose-dive, though. It's usually competetive... like Fury was. And its not that my numbers have gone down, its that they stayed flat event though my gear jumped up. You know, 4.2 in 378 gear I was doing X damage/DPS, and then in 4.3, yes they did dip down a little, and are only back up to where I was when I was in 378 gear now that I'm in 390's. |

Yes, please! My Fury Main could use a buff!

I find that in fury spec, I become rage deprived, having to click Battle Shout or Beserker Rage quite frequently in order to keep my attacks going. At certain times, I sit without any rage and twiddle my thumbs for a few seconds whilst my rage generators are on cooldown.
I don't think this is an issue of "you're doing it wrong." BTW, this is one of my warriors. I have another at lv85 fury spec. |
