If you have only recently resubscribed to the game, it can take 72 hours for posting restrictions to lift.

With that said, sometimes posting in a limited forum will deliver a swift kick to the butt of whatever service manages posting privileges, and unlocks the other forums. If not, though, you'll have to wait out the payment processing. |

Aww, now that's not fair. The developers built that in for new accounts so that gold spammers don't pollute the forums with advertisements and give the moderators a hard time. For players returning to the game, it's fairly arbitrary on whether or not they'll have to wait out the full duration. Since the entire thing is automated though (not like they keep one person locked in a room to press 'okay' for each renewed subscriber... well, okay, maybe), there's not much that can be done to expedite it. :x |

They are not lazy. The 72 hour window is to allow your subscription payment to actually finalize so is dependent on your bank. |

Delacroix,
It's really not a matter of being lazy, but just that there's not much we can do to skip this process. Unfortunately, you will need to wait until the restrictions are removed which may take up to 72 hours, as everyone else has mentioned. |

I had a WoW account, which was turned off.
But after purchasing Diablo 3, at release, I am limited from posting in Diablo forums? |

I had a WoW account, which was turned off. Please create a new topic instead of necroing one from Feb. that has nothing to do with your issue. Yes you can not post on the WoW forums unless you have a current WoW account. You do not have one so you will not be able to post outside of the "limited" forums. You will be able to post on the D3 forums because you have a Battle Tag from your D3 game. |

I had a WoW account, which was turned off. As Scuba mentioned posting on the World of Warcraft forums requires an active World of Warcraft account in good standing. Inactive accounts may still access the [Limited] access forums like this one, Tech Support and New Player. That is intended so that folks who are having trouble playing or accessing the game can receive guidance with a Tech, Account or Game related issue. If you have a valid Diablo III license, you'll be able to access the Diablo III forums. You'll need to create a BattleTag to do so. http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/battletagfaq Since this is from February and regarding a slightly different issue, I'm going to lock this one up. Good luck! |
