With only own CDs, these can take one at least every 3 HoTs

All tank specs
Shadow Priests - Dispersion
Fire Mage - Cauterize, Iceblock
Rogue - Cloak of Shadows
Hunter - Deterrance
Paladin - Glyphed DP / Bubble

With 15% next week, Boomkins, and any DKs can probably do it with their own CDS as well.

Warlocks have 20% innate damage reduction and a +HP CD, and Enh shaman have a 30% DR on a short cooldown, both can soak with an external. DPS warrior's can take one with shield wall. Feral Cats can take at least 1 as well.

Feral druids (kitty) with a point moved in to Survival Instincts can also soak by using it and Barkskin. They can even bear form for the start of the fight to get the Last Defender buff so that SI will be up for each rotation they do. (The point in SI is required in order for bear form to grant the Defender buff.)

Cats don't need to stack SI and Barkskin to survive, they can survive perfectly fine with just SI in Cat form, can shift bear for buffer HP if you're scared. They can as well go bear form, pop Frenzied Regen and Barkskin and they can survive it pretty easily, very much so if there's some form of other cooldown in the mix such as Anti Magic Zone or a tank stays out and does a raidwall or something.

I do it every week.

Warlocks can use Soulburn:Healthstone to soak Hour of Twilight, but its far from ideal, particularly for destruction/demonology, who would normally be using those soulburns or soul shards for their dps. And you're going to be cutting it close even with SB:HS.

I know for certain DKs can do it without outside help already, although I haven't checked lately if my raid's DKs still switch to Blood Presence to do it.

On 10, especially with the upcoming nerf, I can't think of a class that doesn't have the ability to do it.

a small semi-relevant tip:

if you split raid like this:

G1; tanks+self-sufficient dps.
G2: 'problem-dps'
g3: self-sufficient dps + dps receiving cd's or people who can soak 1 but not both and swap in and out etc...

and then you drop both tank 4sets on G2 you'll soak fine AND the 4sets will line up very well with yellow-phase last minute insanity.

basically have the problem group be G2 is the tldr. and cover the whole group with tank cd's. keep the fancy stuff for group 3, dont even bother trying to make G2 live with 'normal stuff'.

If one of your tanks is a prot warrior, anyone with a 20% reduction can take it if your warrior intervene/safeguards them right before he hits his button.

That is to say, anyone with a small CD, 20% isn't a perfect benchmark. In our group we have a safeguarded boomkin with barkskin, safeguarded destro lock with nether prot/power and a safeguarded ret paladin with glyphed DP do it and have no problems.

Destro Locks can do it by themselves as long as they use Nether Ward on the pulsing AOE before the Hour so they get Nether Protection going.

Yeah, I keep forgetting SI is 50%. Oops. I suppose that frees up Barkskin to use whenever healing looks like it's getting rough.

We don't have enough people who can take it with personal CDs only, so I'm paired with our Paladin. Divine Guardian+Barkskin+innate reduction is enough to get me through.

Does this trick require being feral, or just being in bear form?

HoT isn't the only damage I take in this fight, if I could use Barkskin a little more freely it would help our healers.
