Gratz Then how come all the other "heroic progression" guilds got beaten? At least they have 25 heroicly geared players, or at least should have them by now. |

hmmm, Lets not get ahead of ourselves. A good chunk of the 10 man squad that ranked FU as high as 5th in the World were all in Paradosi and technically, so was Watch! In all honesty, while Paradosi was active, we usually dominated the server (especially Vanilla and half of TBC) and this is while FU was active as well. When Paradosi left, FU overall dominated the server. Now back then you really couldn't track kills like you can today with achievements as I know Paradosi would have ranked reasonably high on a few of our kills, but I have to admit, what FU has done since Heroic Rag until now, is very impressive. I don't think Paradosi would have reached anywhere close to 5th in the world. Maybe if there was 10 man we might have, but "might" doesn't mean a whole lot when looking back. Paradosi's Huhu kill "might" have been top 25 in relation to when guilds opened up the AQ gates at best. What's sad is the reason FU won't get the praise Paradosi did is because of timing. FU got more praise at the end of TBC for ranking probably top 1000+ in the world on bosses compared to how well they are doing now. Back then, even with less players actively playing, the ones who were playing actually cared about stuff like this. The game was new and exciting, realm only PvP, cool events like AQ and fighting for world bosses, etc.. Paradosi had more opportunities to make a name for themselves on this server. Now the game has gone too casual and easy, everyone can kill Deathwing and get all the same looking gear minus a few stats so a lot less people care about who is first to what and who has what gear since everyone looks the same. Remember how awesome these forums were back then even with less people playing? That alone should tell you what direction the game has gone in. Whatever, Diablo 3 in a month or so. Until then, I'll be smashing nubs in BF3! |
