Weapon Size and Perspective Inconsistency

Greetings to all!
I posted a ticket to Blizzard about something I noticed very odd between my two 85 hunters (yes, I have two- what can I say, I like hunters!). Here is what I wrote: I have the Envoy of Mortality for my two 85 female hunters as their transmogrified weapons. One is a Blood Elf, the other is a Human. The size difference of the gun between the two races is RIDICULOUS. I wanted the gun because of how huge it was on my human huntress, and I am disappointed as the smaller size on my blood elf. I understand that you try to scale them for the race/body type, but this is a HUGE difference. Can you please look into this- armory: Araela and Mezoti on Korgath. Thanks! Quick links for reference: Araela's Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/korgath/araela/simple Mezoti's Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/korgath/mezoti/simple I think that the huge gun on Mezoti looks totally badass, versus the smaller gun on Araela's PVP set. I was extremely disappointed with the size difference of these two. Same exact gun for transmogrification- the Envoy of Mortality: http://www.wowhead.com/item=40385 When I got a response from the GM, they suggested that I post on the forums to get more attention to this type of inconsistency. My husband also agreed. Have any of you noticed a similar issue on your toons? It certainly isn't a priority issue to get fixed, but I'd really like to see something done about this to create some consistency. Humans and Blood Elves are NOT all that different in physical size- so why the huge difference in weapons? I would like to have the bigger gun on Araela as well, because that just looks terrifying in PVP. :D |

In my opinion Araela's weapon looks better.

Well, when I had asked where I should post it, the GM I talked to specifically said the Hunter forums, since after MOP the "ranged weapons" are only going to be pertinent to hunters. Silly, but that's why I went with it here. :-/

Humans have always had larger scaling on weapons (AFAIK)
Personally I think it's awesome. |
