So before I say anything I want to point out that this did not happen to me. I heard about it and it is something I disagree with and think shouldn't happen to anyone else, therefore I am posting on here to let people know about it, so they don't fall for it either Rayissoldier has a Paladin and a Death Knight of the same name (jus with an accented letter). They asked a friend of mine if they could help run their 70 Death Knight through Black Temple. So my buddy says, I want the Warglaives so yes I can help you. He stated he would help and that he main reason he is helping is for the glaives if they happen to drop. So Rayissoldier says "Sure, I got you man I will pass on them and you can have it". Understandable when someone is going out of their way to help you even though they also would like something out of it. Well, one of the Glaives did drop! Of course Rayissoldier needs on it with quickness. He wins the roll and leaves. I understand it is the glaives and who wouldn't want them, but do not tell someone your going to do something when you have no intention of doing so if it really drops. I am sure he was 99% sure the glaive wouldn't drop so he didn't mind lying because it wouldn't matter if it didn't. My whole thing is, don't say your going to do something if your not. My buddy even said if he had just said he wanted to roll on it, he would have still helped him because he still has a chance to get them as well. He isn't even that upset that he didn't get it, he is upset at the way the dude handled it. So just a heads up about this dude, he is deceitful and a liar. |

If this agreement was said in chat and not over vent, your friend has a good chance of getting the glaives back. Written agreements like these said over raid chat, whispers, guild chat, party chat, etc, etc are considered binding by Blizz depending on the situation.
I would have your friend open a ticket. Might take awhile to get an answer, but the situation should be resolved. The worst they can say is no, right? |

Well, I'm not saying to not do this, and would suggest trying this, because you never know, and as you said, the worst they can say is no, but chances are, if it wasnt on Master Loot, it was fair, due to the fact anyone can roll, this does not make what he did right, obviously. But I do agree, opening a ticket is atleast worth a try. |

I will ask him. I never knew this. Thank you. Also, it def isn't me who this happened to. I would say if it was. lol. I just disagree with tactics like this and think that people should know about people who do this so they don't have it happen to them. Also, I completely agree on the master looter but the Rayissoldier guys was raid leader, so wasn't possible to control what was used. I mean he still let my buddy Roll, but he didn't stick with his word on passing on it. |

Oh, you mean Rayissøldier (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dentarg/Rayiss%C3%B8ldier/advanced), right? He looks for 85s to carry him through BT. He tried to grab myself and another guild member (at different times of the evening) to heal him through it. Naturally, we declined, with a sour taste in at least my mouth, if not hers.

Your still on that? Here is what happened with Exclusve Exclusve: "Sure I will raid, what drops off of Halfus?" Blacksabath: "He drops a polearm called Malevolence, its very nice" Exclusve: " I can win it?" Blacksabath: "Yes you could". I admitted already that this came out wrong. What I meant was, yes you COULD win it. Not that you were guaranteed it. A lot of people know me from when I was originally on realm, they also know I am no ninja, never have been and never will. So get over it and move on. If you want it so bad, go run it now, it should be pretty easy. I remember countless groups I put together just to try and get myself the tank shoulders from the trash in BoT. I forget the dudes name but they dropped, he won them and left the group right away, I was a little upset, not that I lost them but since he just left like that. Then he tried saying I was the ninja to his entire guild. SGW I believe it was. No matter, my name and reputation is still good with a lot that know me. Other than my words being taken the wrong way, I have never wronged anyone on this realm. |
