Is Anyone Still Around....

Hey Kael'Thas... just wondering if anyone would happen to still be around from when I used to play (about 3 years ago.. or more). I may be coming back, but not full time or anything, it would be strictly for some PvP fun...
Even if nobody remembers me, I'd still appreciate any insight to some of the changes that have occurred over the last few years, especially with the rogue class. I pretty much have to pick up from scratch, I have no mods, don't know what specs are good now, realize there are abilities I've never heard about, and the list goes on. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks! (And I hope to see some familiar faces!) |

Fred still pops around, but the people you may remember from Vanilla/BC are 99% gone. And I was JUST mentioning you the other day. WTF man, mind reading much?PS. As for the update, it looks like Horde side has completely withdrawn since mid WotLK, people are either Ally, quit or elsewhere. |

Haha, how've you been Altronix. What were ya doin' mentioning me for? Funny you say that too because I just got done sending you an in-game mail... I did a faction change and I'm now Alliance. You plan on being on at all tonight? I'm completely lost haha... setting up all my keybinds now, feel like I'm playing for the first time. Good to see a familiar face!

I've been good. Ups and downs in-game, but life can't be better. Waiting on D3 at this point. In the meantime a few of us are seriously putting together a SC2 team for MLG open brackets. Don't expect to get past the first couple rounds of the loser bracket, but it'd be pretty beast to possibly get my !@# handed to me by the non-invitational pros.

Haha fred you know you may as well be speaking Chinese to me right now right? I don't know half those acronyms... I quit playing right before WoTLK... that being said I have a LOT to learn. Matter of fact... If you have an alliance character over here why don't you log in and fill me in on some things :D

I don't actually play here. I just like to troll Altronix and a couple other people. =) The most I even log into WoW for lately is to cap my valor points (similar to Justice badges from TBC) and farm MC for the Eye from Ragnaros. Waiting for the new expansion.
But, I'll give you a rundown of those acronyms. D3 = Diablo 3 SC2 = Starcraft 2 MLG = Major League Gaming (e-sports franchise) - They do tournaments around the US, most notably Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Halo, Call of Duty. They used to host WoW arena but dropped it last year. A group of friends and I (a lot of them ex-Kael'thas players from Dominus) are making a Starcraft 2 team to compete in the open brackets at MLG. |

Ah ok, gotcha. Well I really just meant logging on to an alt or making one just to chat! That's cool though, I've never played any of those and don't really have the time to learn anything else but I hope it works out for you and that y'all will do well.

By the way, Sub is strictly daggers now. The only non-dagger spec is Combat. For PvP, just make sure Recuperate has a 100% uptime and you will never die.

Well, after doing quite a bit of research, it seems that Hemo 8/2/31 is the mainstream PvP build (swords or daggers really makes no difference, it's negligible). Hemo is the main attack, Ambush during Shadowdance. One of my sources is Neilyo so you know that's legit.... lol. Appreciate the input though! |

When ya level up hit me up if ya want some help gearing up. I have some alts that i can probably help ya with (Resto Shaman, Holy Pally, Mage, Warr) all of them decently geared.
It Burns When I PvP is an ally side PvP guild i believe one of few going right now (Bael uses tons of alt characters so just search for /who PvP) most of my alts are in guild but its a great way to gear up away from the boredom of solo Qing and getting wrecked in BGs. Pretty regular Normal BGs, Rated BGs, and almost anybody in guild will help with arena points for the week. Welcome Back |

Oh and hey, look what I found! A video of Sense and I killing Altronix in Ironforge :) I also found a few random other clips and threw them together with windows movie maker... unfortunately I seem to have lost all of the cool KT world pvp stuff I had gathered as well as all the serious Arena stuff I once planned on making a video with (including all my 3's and 5's), you'll see a couple 2s in this but nothing serious, these were our easy fights that we just messed around in. I wish I still had the clips of the 5v5 all rogue team we made lol... or the ones with me and Komobi and Kummar but oh well. And yes I know that rogue going against me as a mage is terrible... try not to take any of these clips seriously, it's all just fun. I'll let you know when I find the real stuff, or if I ever get to making any again!

Here's me getting my !@# handed to me sometime in late Wrath on my rogue. This guy was two seasons ahead in gear than me and was probably one of the best rogues in the US. I am proud of gouging his trinket though. =P

Well, looks like you beat him multiple times! And I wouldn't call your play terrible. Trust me, you're definitely above average. Terrible involves keyboard turning and a whole slew of other things lol. That's funny that y'all beat his 2's team like that. RM is a fun combo... I enjoyed it much more than when I ran Rogue/Priest or Rogue/Druid that's for sure... it's tough to beat (err... was, I don't know anything beyond season 3 lol, so idk how hard it would have been for them to beat your comp in s5).
