Deepholm - The Middle Fragment

The quest "The Middle Fragment" is bugging out on me. I get the quest from the npc to loot the fragment from behind him, but when I do, there is nothing in there. I am not the only one who is having this problem, there are a few other horde and at least one alliance who also cannot loot the fragment.
I am using wow 64, and I have tried switching it back to 32, and then tried removing all the 64 bit stuff out of my wow folder, and it didn't work. I have reloaded my ui, turned off all addons, deleted my wtf/cache/interface folders, but nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Given the steps you've already taken, I'd think a ticket in game would be the way to go. For some known buggy quests, GMs will set the state of the quest to completed, or can give you the necessary quest item, or simply provide advice on what you may need to do to finish up.
