[H]Heroic Throne of the four winds

Our guild has been hosting T4W for the last few saturdays, and again this week. I'm hopefull, since a good bunch have seen the fight now, to start working on it in Heroic.
We're likely to have one or two slots, probably a healer (prefer shammy or drood) and a dps (prefer not-a-dk). Our saturday raid time is usually 7pm server time. If you're interested, let me know in-game. After we clear T4W on heroic a couple of times, we'll be starting BWD. |

You really might want to consider that criticism of someone's offspec gear isn't really relevant to not-current content runs. Additionally, if you're the kind of person who would judge a run based on what someone has for enchantments, we'll be happy to do fine without you. Best of luck.

Upon further examination, it looks like Dysotar also never bothered to fish up Ol' Crafty from Orgrimmar. Clearly, people from other servers shouldn't take his attempt to pug an empty raid slot seriously.

I completely understand all the concerns people have. You know, it is very risky to try outdated content with someone who's toon hasn't done it because, as we all know, you can only have one toon. People simply cannot have experience across multiple toons. More so, it is utterly impossible for others in the run to have experience. Such things simply do not happen.
I'm not sure how current content gets downed by those standards. If there is any chance that your fictional digital character can sustain damage or die, it is much to great of a risk to take. Those 12 gold repairs take can be better spent on that overpriced Silver Tabby on the Auction House. In other news, good luck to you Dysotar in actually making something interesting happen on the horde side on this server. If it was up to these people, we'd all be sitting in LFR where no harm can possibly befall anyone. |

Thanks Hespler, we had some good fun at it! In the end, a few people in the group just didn't have the DPS to finish Al'Akir in Heroic (There are some 'fresh' 85s in the guild, which is fine) so we just finished in regular mode. It was very useful to gauge what's going to be needed for dps and healing throughput to clear the fight, and which mechanics need the most practice to avoid. We'll be making T4W a regular thing ; everyone seems to enjoy the fights, and the heroic mode makes for a decent 'progression'. I expect we'll always be open to bring along another experienced player or two, so if anyone wants to see the T4W content just get in-touch in game and we'll try to get you in on it.
As you said, someone has to at least try and get some stuff going. Posting from this toon, in whatever gear/spec/etc I happen to log out in, really indicates very little about the runs we do and people who run with us have all provided very positive feedback on the experience and fun. Horde is so DOA here, over-volting the defib has really been the only way to get life going again ;-) Our guilds motto is "We Do Stuff" - expect to see more runs like this in the future. |

I applaud you for trying to get runs going on horde side of Medivh, I do. Its just you should take the time to at least be fully enchanted, gemmed, and reforged correctly or people may not fully take you seriously. Now if its a full guild run I understand it may be a bit more loose.
