World of Warcraft®

I have been playing WoW since vanilla including alot of hardcore raiding through out my time in this game. I spend most of my time helping small guilds, but I have come to the point where I want to do end game content. I know I am ready/geared, and am a very fast learner. Being that I have been a Raid Leader since forever now I am the type of player than goes into a fight knowing it form every aspect, not just my own, which will allow me to make better choices at crunch moments. I have been tanking since BC, and all through current content, but I have finally reached the point where I need to join a solid guild to progress through personal goals and achievements. Tank- Päradox (Bear)
Scyrix (Paladin)

Dps toons- Mage (fire)
Warlock (Demo/afflic)

as someone who's been raiding since vanilla, you'd probably know that people who don't bother to put in the effort to seek the guilds that fit their needs, and apply there, are generally frowned upon by the community

And what do you think this is? This is a forum post to the community to see if anyone is looking or a place to start looking. ALSO just because I post here does'nt mean im not apping into guilds. Just now adays there are so many 10 man guilds its not like back in the day where there were like 2 guilds that are worth a damn and that's it. There are many smaller ones now that don't boast in trade or get all kinds of glory, hence the concept of posting on a forum to reach said smaller groups. Thank you for the comment though :).

It's generally a better idea to approach officers/gm's of the guilds of interest. Armory/wowprogress are boundless supplies of information on what guilds fit your "needs".

this is you not sending messages to people in the guilds you would like to join. this isn't monster.com

Once again you assume just because I posted here i have not approached people in game directly? Can you not read that? Lol just because i post a advertisement does not mean I have not gone after direct contact with officers and RL's. At this point your just attempting to troll a point that really is not valid. This post is just as a general heads up to anyone who reads it. It in NO way shows or depicts my actions in/out of game other than the fact that one of the things I have done was make this forum post I am well aware that approaching someone directly is smarter, so please stop trying to argue something as minute and idiotic as "POSTING ON FORUMS FOR GUILDS R BAD". Thank you.

Yeah I have apped into a few guilds and talked to people directly, it Just seems that according to others since i DID post on a forum that MUST mean that is the only thing I did, and expect people to come to me, rather than me to them. I didnt get mad at all O.o, just making a point, none of that was ever done through anger. I am extremely patient. There was no cussing, put downs, other than the fact I feel it was being somewhat trolled. I just dont understand how making this thread = I didnt contact anyone :(. I have only been on this server a month or so and am unfamiliar with every little and big guild that exists, so in my eyes making a post along with apping in to guilds that I have found that fit the times and such I can commit 110% is completely normal. I mean even RDS, posted on here, another 6/8H posted a forum ad. Though if it does seem to anyone that I am getting angry I apologize, I'm not at all, but I suppose alot of confusion can happen through text, points of emphasis, can be deemed I guess points of anger? Thank you for the concern as I do see the point your coming from, so hopefully this will correct any ideas that I am nerd raging lol. :).
