Topic Marks PVP - 2 piece T13?

I'm just curious if it's worth pursuing the 2 piece T13 in place of some pvp gear. If I replace my shoulders and legs, I drop haste and gain crit, and I also get twice as much focus back from my steady shots.

Any input? Has this been tried and proven to be a good or bad idea?

It's pretty much a necessity now to equip T13 shoulders and legs. You make back some of the resilience by using agi/res gems in the red sockets.

Basically what Xavv said. The damage increase you get (more Arcane Shots, less Steady Shots) is so much better than the resilience you gain from using PvP pieces instead. Plus, as Xavv also said, you can make up for the resilience loss with gems. My PvP set has about 4200 resilience, using the Heroic versions of my t13 shoulders and legs.

I go back-and-forth with the two-piece, but I have only the regular PVE pieces. I think the heroic pieces would make it a no-brainer.

This question begs another: what will happen when we no longer have the two-piece in PVP? Heck, even in PVE? Focus regen with the two-piece feels about right...without, will we be starved again?

It is a great idea. I use it.

There are 3 way to gear right now

2piece + agi gems

2 piece + agi/resil gems

only PvP pieces + agi gems
